Torn Away

``I know what she`s been doing to you.'' His voice sounded raspy yet comforting in a way. ``I don`t know what your talking about.'' I couldn't trust him , I couldn't trust anyone who had talked to my mother.She had to many friends willing to do her ``favors''.''Look I don`t expect you to believe me right away, but, I would like to help.'' His voice sounded sincere. I slowly turned around I was worried I was going to come face to face with my death, then again I feel that way every time that door opens.His eyes were so beautiful.'' Who are you?'' I asked wanting to know the beautiful strangers name.He wiped away tears I didn't know were there. `` I'm Zayn love. Now why don't you tell me your name?'' I didn't know what to say he was the first nice person i had ever seen, or remember seeing. `` I'm Lyla.Can I ask you a question Zayn?'' I said barely a whisper scared to anger him. He cupped my chin forcing me to look at him. I didn't mind it just scared me, so i turned my head to get him to know I wasn't comfortable with him touching me even though after I pulled away I longed for his touch.It didn't fell sensuall at all it just felt comforting. ``You can ask me anything.'' he said looking into my eyes '' Why would you help someone like me?'' I basicly cried. He got up from where he was kneeling beside me. As he got up he held my hand gently pulling me up.He pulled me into a hug.''Nobody deserves to be treated like this. Especially not someone as beautiful as you.'' He said while combing his fingers through my dirty black hair. I winced in pain as his other hand touched a bruise on my sholder. He noticed and quickly moved his hand away and placing it on the center of my back. '' I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry.'' He whispered as he placed his chin on the top of my head.
