Ariela's POV
Things were patching up between me and Robert. I still don't want him to meet Harry just yet because of the whole "man-whore incident".
Speaking of Harry, he got his wrist cast off. But he still has his arm and leg casts.
The friendship between the boys and I was also growing.
Things were going well now that my friends and my boyfriend know that Harry is my little brother.
But the bad part is that I'm not working with the boys a lot this week because the STAR Music Awards are this Friday. I'm going to be performing my new song Honeymoon Avenue for the first time there.
So here I am rehearsing it.
Things were going great until she walked in.
"Ariela, Darling".
"Hey Susan" I responded.
"Sweetheart, me and your father won't be able to make it to your performance because we're going to be in Cabo this weekend." my stepmother said.
Yes I said stepmother.
Well, she isn't technically my stepmother.
You see her and my father got engaged when I was fifteen, but still haven't tied the knot.
"It's okay." I lied.
It's not like my dad never missed performances in the past. He's been doing it since he and Susan first met.
But I really wanted my parents to show up for this performance because I wanted to reintroduce Harry to Dad.
"Well Adíos" she waved walking out.
I just sighed.
Then I looked at the moon necklace on my neck, and remembered what Mum told me.
"Don't let anyone stop my moon from shining bright."
