Shattered

Harry's P.O.V-

She's different. Too different. You'd think after 3 months she'd be comfortable around us, but she barely talks to us if she isn't giving us orders or directions. She's so reserved, shy, and the look in her eyes is just painful. It's like Angelica has been through war but never talked about it to anyone, she kept those disturbing images and sounds from battle in her mind and no one could see it and help her out. Angelica's eyes scream pain, agony, misery, but her face is so radiant, her smile so pure and real, almost too real. Liam brings life to her, you can easily tell that, but when he's not around, she's just closed up, stern and her body language basically screams 'DON'T HURT ME! PLEASE! STAY AWAY!', I'd give anything to learn her secrets...

"Harry! Did you hear what I said?" Speaking of stern...

"No, honestly, I was caught up in my own little world, where you don't boss me around!" I rolled my eyes. There she was, being all stern and bossy again. I know I'm being rude, but this girl drives me crazy! Secrets or no secrets, wound or no wounds, she's still bossy!

"Well, I see we have something in common, I often day dream about a world where I don't have to deal with your rude ass!" She spat back, standing up and giving me a glare that even Hitler would run away from. Her eyes were almost on fire, her lips were forming a growl, and her eyebrows were knit together. She looked scary.

"I'm sorry, I'm just tired' I sighed giving up. Her face softened and she nodded. We had our vocal coach over today and we spent 5 hours doing vocal exercises and singing, then another 2 hours at the gym. We were about to collapse and Angelica was trying to make us behave. Sometimes I wonder how an 18 year old girl can manage to take care of 5 guys all on her own.

"Very well, you all seem drained and tired... Go have fun, just don't brake anything" She winked at us and headed to the direction of the door.

"WAIT!" I called after her. The boys looked at me questioningly. I signal for her to wait a bit.

"Boys, she needs to rest a bit, why don't we invite her to join us?" I suggest the boys.

"Great idea Harry!" Louis cheered.

"Yeah! We can get her to loosen up a bit, ey?" Niall grinned.

"We can teach her to play video games too! No more problems with teams!" Liam said, making me smile wider. She was most definitely going to be on my team!

"Then afterwards we could all go dancing!" Zayn yelled, which surprised me a bit, but oh well.

"Angelica, it is decided. You have no say in it, by the way..." Louis said giving her an evil smile. Her eyes widened and she instantly backed up hitting her back on a wall. She winced and turned around to run to the door.

"OH NO YOU DON'T! YOU'RE GONNA HAVE FUN!" We all shouted together. We ran towards her but she squeaked and ran out. We chased her around the house before following her to her little house. She went in and closed the door. We didn't waste time, we opened the door and ran after her. She was running up the stairs. Man, that girl was fast! Sheesh! She ran into her room and before she could lock the door we all pushed and she fell, with us on top of course.

"Uh... You guys are fat! Get off me!" She whined. We laughed and got off. I helped her up, the touch of her skin making me warm and leaving a weird feeling afterwards. I can't be falling for her, can I?

"What is it you want anyway?" She said rubbing her neck.

"Are you hurt?" I panicked. She giggled and shook her head. Phew!

"I just have tense muscles, curse you for having such a big house!" She joked and laughed. It's all fake, but I don't think people can tell easily. She's a good actress though.

"Let me help you with that" I said and started massaging her. She relaxed and let out a soft moan.

"We're here ya know!" Louis sassed and gave us a bored face. ( -____- )

"Yeah, we know" Angelica casually said and waved him off. He grunted and rolled his eyes. He hugged Niall and started 'crying' and saying how he was being cheated on and whatnot. I laughed and let go of Angelica to go hug him.

"I'd never cheat on you boo-bear!" I yelled. Angelica laughed, a genuine laugh this time. I smiled and pinched Louis' butt. He squealed in a girly voice and slapped my hand 'blushing' and giggling. I rolled my eyes and everyone was laughing now.

"OK! Enough of that! Angelica, you are going to have fun with us, and that is final!" Liam said yanking her hand and dragging her out of the room. I was a bit jealous, I wanted to be the one to hold her hand. Ever since she stitched me up that day, I began feeling something very weird when I was around her. That day we were so close that I could see the bags under her eyes, the faded color of her hair, her pale and thin skin, her sad gaze that would have a twinkle in them whenever Liam giggled.

"You've got it bad mate..." Zayn trailed off. I looked at him with a questioning look. He smiled slightly.

"The way you look at her is the way I look at Perrie. It's that love sick look, the one you see in movies. She's fragile Harry, don't break her" With that he followed the others, leaving me dumbstruck. Was it that obvious?!

"Harryyyy! Come on!" I heard her voice call from downstairs and I followed it. The boys were all standing behind her trying not to laugh. She had her hands on her hips and she was tapping her right foot, something she does a lot when we're in trouble.

"You weren't looking through my clothes, were you?" She narrowed her eyes at me and pursed her lips.

"The boys said I did that to the last maid didn't they?" I bluntly said. She nodded and then started laughing. I smiled, like the fool in love I was....
