10 years ago my "loving" scientist father didn't have any volunteers to give up themselves - or their children or family - to try out an experiment. So he kidnapped his own daughter, moi, and medically attached wings onto my back. Then he wanted to take them off of his little girl but NOPE. Now I still have these dreaded things attached to my back.
And I HATE my father for it.
Years later he's still trying out stuff on me. Laser vision almost left me blind. Ice powers? Um, I get frostbite whenever I see water. Breathing underwater? That's hilarious. He almost killed me.
I'm not exactly drop dead gorgeous like a model, I'm not exactly as cute as a button or will make you leave with a smile on your face. But Niall seems to think so.

Carlos Sydney
The betrayer that used to be part of the Treetop Group. Has a crush on Marce but hates Niall more than anything. Replaced by Sydney. Mysteriously appeared one day.
Christopher Dark
Marceline's scientist father, the creator of Dark Labs where all the experiments were experimented on. Hated by all of them, too, except from Carlos.
Maddy Lakeshire
The 7 year old orphan girl who was abused by her parents. She has useful abilities like acting as a distraction and spy. She's part of the Treetop Group.
Marceline *Marce* Dark
The Mutant Main Character. She has wings, pale skin, red eyes, all because of her father's experiments. 20 yrs. old. Her best friend is Vania, Marceline is leader of the Treetop Group. She met Niall at Starbucks. Will she fall for him, being the freak she is?
One Direction
The guys, you know them. Louis, Harry, Niall, Liam and Zayn. Who likes who? You'll find out! :D
Sydney *Syd* Carlos
Carlos's BETTER duplicate. He travels with the Treetop Group when Carlos disappeared. He was made by the scientists to track down Marceline.
Vania Chelsea
One of the experiments. She traveled with Marceline and became best friends with her. 1/4 of the Treetop Group. She has a crush on Harry. She can read minds and also has wings.
