The Lovers

Hannah's P.O.V.

"Are you sure you don't wanna come to the concert babe?" Zayn asked.

He was fixing his hair in the mirror in the bathroom with the door open.

I was sitting cross-legged on the bed watching him.

"Nah, I think Rachel needs someone to hang out with. I'm pretty sure things are still awkward between her and Louis.. " I replied.

He nodded.

"Poor thing. Make sure to tell her she's welcome to sleep here again tonight. I probably won't be back until late anyways" he told me, coming out of the bathroom.

"Thanks" I nodded.

"It's not a problem babe, she's your best friend" he smiled, leaning in to let his lips meet mine.

My lips moved in sync with mine and within a minute his tongue flicked across my bottom lip, asking for entrance.

I opened my mouth willingly, letting his explore my mouth with his tongue.

He pushed me back onto the bed easily so he was hovering above me.

A loud knock on the door caused him to pull back.

"Who is it?" Zayn yelled, obviously a bit frustrated.

"Louis" came the quiet reply.

I met Zayns eye quickly as he stood up sighing.

He walked to the door opening it quickly.

"Hey Lou" he greeted letting Louis in.

"Hi" I smiled brightly at him.

He nodded in response.

"What's up?" Zayn asked.

"Well we're going soon so I figured I'd just wait here with you until we're leaving" he mumbled.

Then his eyes widened a little.

"Is-Is that okay?" he asked.

I rolled my eyes.

"Of course.. sit down" I replied, pointing to the couch that Zayn slept on last night.

Louis sat down quickly and Zayn made his way over to the bed to sit next to me.

He wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Have you talked to Rachel?" he asked softly, curiosity ringing through his calm tone.

Louis shook his head slowly.

"You really should, she's pretty upset" I told him.

He nodded.

"I know, everythings all screwed up now" he mumbled, throwing his head in his hands.

"Don't say that, I'm sure you guys can work it out. You just need to talk it out" Zayn said comfortingly.

I nodded.

Louis looked up but just shrugged.

"Did she sleep here last night?" he asked, looking at the blanket and pillow folded neatly beside him.

I nodded.

"Good, I was pretty worried when she didn't come back last night" he whispered.

I bit my lip.

He looked so.. devastated.

A knock on the door pulled me out of my train of thought

"Zayn!" A yell came from outside the door.

Paul.

Zayn answered the door to find Paul standing there looking worried.

"C'mon we gotta go! We're running late as it is.." he told him, hurriedly.

"Right, okay. C'mon Lou, we gotta go.." He called behind him.

Louis stood up quickly.

"Bye Hannah" he smiled weakly at me.

"Bye guys! Good luck" I called out.

Zayn walked over to me quickly, planting a swift kiss on my lips.

"Bye babe" he whispered.

And with that, they were gone.

I decided to go find Rachel, see how she was doing.

I walked to her room and opened the door slowly.

She was sitting on her bed playing guitar and singing Fix You (by Coldplay).

She was so engrossed in the song that she didn't see me so I just stood there watching her sing it.

When she finished singing the last note, she sighed deeply.

"Hey" I said, causing her to jump.

"Oh hey Han" she nodded, when she saw me.

I made my way to the bed and sat down next to her.

"I was just talking to Louis, he was pretty upset" I told her softly.

She bit her lip.

"I went looking for him to talk but I couldn't find him.. I assumed they had already left for the concert" she replied, thoughtfully.

"You guys really need to talk.." I nodded.

"I know.." her voice was barely a whisper.

"Well hey, no point worrying about it now Rach, They're all gone to the concert anyways" I told her.

She nodded.

"So why don't we just have a girls night? We can got to the shop and buy ice cream and junk food and just talk and watch tv, and completely pig out" I suggested.

She nodded, grinning widely.

"Great, I'll go see if the other girls are still around and we'll get it all sorted out" I smiled back.

One night without drama will do her well.
