The Lovers

Hannah's P.O.V.

Once Kay was gone and Liam started arguing with Danielle, I decided it was time to get out of the pool.

Me and Zayn got out of the pool and began heading back to the room, to avoid any drama.

"It would just be our luck that Danielle would happen to be here.. Not a night can go by without drama" Zayn muttered as we made our way to the room.

We turned a corner and saw Rachel sitting on the floor against the wall, her chin resting on her knees.

"Speaking of drama.." I whispered when Zayn spotted her.

I walked up to her quickly.

"What's up, buttercup?" I teased, reaching out a hand to pull her up.

Rachel was definitely my best friend of the group. We had known each other since we were young. She had met Louis through me, when I started dating Zayn.

"What's wrong Rach?" Zayn asked as she stood up.

She shook her head.

"Nothing, I'm just tired.." she mumbled, obviously lying.

Zayn raised his eyebrows at me, not believing her but shrugged.

"Why don't you come hang out in our room for a while? I was just gonna take a shower and then we were gonna watch a movie or something" I told her, linking arms with her as we walked towards my room.

I knew she was pretty upset with this thing with Louis.

Rachel liked to pretend like she didn't have a care in the world but I knew that when it came to guys she was easily hurt.

"Are you sure I wouldn't be interrupting?" she asked quietly.

Very unlike her. She normally didn't care when she bothered us.

"Of course not" Zayn answered before I had a chance to.

She nodded as I opened the room door.

"Okay, great" she smiled.

"There's movies in my bag there, pick something good" I told her pointing to my bag.

I walked into the bathroom and indicated for Zayn to follow me.

He did after a few seconds.

"Are her and Louis fighting or something? I've never seen her all.. shy and glum" Zayn asked once the door was closed.

"Sami said something about how they hadn't slept together and she got pretty upset.. I think she talked to Louis about it but it seems to have made things a bit awkward" I explained quickly.

"Shit. I was teasing Lou about it yesterday. I was only messing though, I didn't actually think it was awkward between them.." he mumbled.

He headed back out to start watching the movie with Rachel while I got ready for my shower.

I really was so lucky to have Zayn.

I was delighted when I found out we were going on tour.

I don't know how I would've handled being away from him for so long.

Running my fingers over the little tattoo on my wrist I smiled.

This was a new place to mark off on my list of places I've been.

My shower didn't last long.

I got changed into this and went back out to Rachel and Zayn.

They were watching Marley & Me.

Of course, this is what Rachel would pick.

I loved this movie but I knew we'd both be crying by the end.

I ended up lying between Rachel and Zayn.

As usual, when it came to the end of the movie, both me and Rachel were sobbing.

"It's just a movie guys, don't be so silly" Zayn chuckled, kissing my forehead and ruffling Rachel's hair.

We watched The Conjuring after that, which had me jumping the whole time and then watched Skyfall.

Rachel was asleep by the time we got to Skyfall.

"I don't think she'll be going back to her room, so I'll just sleep on the little couch there Hans" Zayn whispered when the movie ended so as not to wake her up.

"No, I'll sleep on the couch, you two take the bed" I argued back without thinking.

He raised an eyebrow.

"Nevermind that's weird, you take the couch" I decided.

He laughed softly.

One thing I could never get used to was Zayns laugh.

It was just so perfect.

His laugh always made me smile.

"Why didn't I think of that" he mumbled sarcastically.

I stuck my tongue out at him.

He took a pillow from the bed with him to the couch.

"Thanks Zayn, I'm really sorry about this" I whispered as he pulled a blanket from the cupboard.

"Han, it's no biggie" he replied.

He gave me quick peck on the lips before getting into his couch bed.

"Night Hannah"

"Night Zayn"

"I love you"

It had been a while since we first said 'I love you' but I still wasn't used to hearing it from him. It was the most amazing feeling in the world.

"I love you too"
