The Lovers

Danielle decided now would be the perfect time to intrude. As she walked past us, staring at us all in the pool, everyone went silent. Except Sami and Niall in their own world. Liam quickly climbed out of the pool, trying to stop the problem before it started but I was right behind him.

"I thought I told you last time to stay away?" I asked, expecting her to come back with some lame retort like 'bite me' but she pushed me. Like, the bitch put her whole hands on me! This is the shit that brings out the ghetto in me. I stepped up, not bothering with petty fighting and punched her square in the face. I aimed for her nose too. Bitch.

"Kay!" Liam called, but I ignored him. I raised my fist to punch her again while she was holding her nose but Val had gotten to me and was dragging me toward Lou and Rachel.

"Stupid bitch!" I yelled, struggling against Val's hold.

"Calm down, babe. I'll be right back. Rach, keep watch on her." Rachel and Lou flanked me, keeping me held back while Liam screamed at Dani.

"You okay, Kay?" Sami came over, smiling.

"No. The bitch is back." I muttered, wishing I could bash her face in some more.

"Come on, Kay. Let's go to your room before you end up killing Dani." I tried to resist against Rachel as she dragged me toward my room. I was trying to listen to what Liam and Dani were fighting about but I was being committally dragged... and by innocent Rachel, no less!

"Just let me pound her face in a little more!" I yelled, trying to get away from her. Once she slammed the door to the hotel behind me, Val ran past us, sporting a First Aid kit.

"No. Kay, calm down! Liam is not gonna go back to Dani. Calm down... there's no reason to fight her." But Rachel didn't know what Danielle had done to me. How she had ruined my relationship with my family... the crap she'd started...

"Fine." I had just given up, letting my head hit against the wall when Val came in, minus the First Aid kit.

"I can take it from here, Rach. Go, try and get Liam in here. The guys are getting rid of the devil, herself. Come on, boo." Val said, leading me up to my room. As soon as we were in my room, I collapsed on the floor, my back to the wall. I just started bawling my eyes out.

"I just... I can't... why the fuck is she here?" I cried, falling apart. Danielle Fucking Peazer had caused me enough pain and I didn't need her unhinging my life again.

"Calm down... breathe. We don't need you having another anxiety attack." Val soothed, wrapping my shoulders in a warm towel. She was the only person I had told about everything that happened with Danielle and I. Liam didn't need to know that his ex and I went way back.

"I'm fine now... I just... I don't get how someone who was so close to you can become such a monster." I sniffed, just ready for bed. But as soon as I closed my eyes, Liam had bust through the door.

"Why the fuck didn't you tell me?" Liam screamed, clearly angry with me. I sat up fast, unable to say anything. I was like a deer in headlights, caught in the half truths I had told him. Yes, I loved him... but a month isn't enough time to spill a life story.

"I..." Guess it's time I opened Pandora's Box.
