"Emma?" I scream into the receiver. Her voice sounds to strained but speaking to her right now is all I care about, it feels like I haven't spoken to her in years but it's only been three days.

"Hey, where are you? I'm at the dorms and your not here."

"I'm in Scottsdale. Why are you at the dorms?"

"Scottsdale holy shit. I'm home." I hear her sigh and the sound of a door clicking.

"Like for good?"

"Yeah." She says as I take to the queen size bed at the far end of my room. It seems like everything in this room has been altered in some way. My bed with the knitted comforter my grandmother mad me is gone, I have a new bed intirley. My childhood posters are gone, it feels like I never lived here. My dorm room feels more like home than this place.

"You should come up here." I tell her and I can already see her rolling her eyes.

"Aren't your parents like snobby?"

"Not always." I defend them although yes, yes they are. I've never met people so self involved other than my parents. They're not mean people, they just understand that other people have feelings. "Will you?"

"Come home. I have all this food and no one to eat it with. Plus I want to talk to you about a few things." The offer is tempting but I promised my mother I would spend New Years here and I know all to well that Emma will force me to stay at campus with her. I eye my bags laying in the far right corner of my room, I could grab them and go. Tell my parents I'll be back New Years night.

"Hello?" She says.

"Yeah, I'll be home in a few."

"Okay, see you then." She hangs up and I'm left with my bags and the modern contents of my bedroom. My parents sit in the livingroom of their spacious home, playing a card game at the table.

"I'm going to be going okay?" My fathers head pops up with sadness plastering his face.

"Why? Is it because of that boy?"

"No, Dad. My roommate just got home and she doens't have a key." I lie. "I'm just gonna let her in. I'll be back tomorrow night."

"Tomorrow night?" It's my mothers turn to be upset.

"Why can't you just let her in and come back today." Well honestly I don't want to be around any of you right now. I would never tell them that.

"I can't drive so much, Mom. I'll be back tomorrow." I smile. I don't bother to take my bag before I slip outside to my car hoping that my parents won't call me before I get home.

Harry's P.O.V

"Sure." He says walking into the house. The women who helped me out earlier is standing at the foot of the stairs with her hand on her hip and the other covering her flushed cheek. Her eyes turn to us and she quickly exits the room without a word.

"Is she okay?" I ask, he nods and gestures me upstairs. I was up here earlier but I never took in how white everything is. The walls are white, the fucking carpet, it's like being in a God damn hospital besides the pictures of children and families decorating the walls. He shows me to a room and sits on the bed.

"So, what do you need?" I don't know what I need. I barely know you and I only mentioned talking to you to keep myself from chasing her to the car.

"How well do you know Norie?" I blurt. He shakes his head but keeps eye contact with me.

"Not that much, I just met her today but we've talked a lot and she seems very, um smart." He struggled with his words. "It just seems she has made some bad judgments."

"Bad judgement? What the hell does that mean."

"I mean you and that other guy. She has bad judgment." My blood starts to boil at his insults.
"Fuck you, you don't know shit!" I snap.

"See what I mean? You have such a bad temper that everything gets to you." I look away from him. What the fuck is his problem?

"I better go."

"You can't even take criticism. Bad judgment." He repeats.

"You're pushing it!" I say running my hands over my hair. "Your fucking pushing it. How the hell do you anything about me, like you said you just met Norie today You don't know anything about her judgment."

"I know enough. We talked for almost 4 hours today, you don't think she didn't mention you once?" I stop and perk my ear up at his words.

"Wait, she talked about me?"

"Yes, do you wanna know or not."

"Well, of course." I say and take a seat.

Norie's P.O.V

The drive here was as quick as I expected it to be but the walk to the dorm was the most nerve racking, I kept expecting to see Alex standing there, his eye's locked on mine and an unconscious Emma, sprawled across the bed. When I open the door the last thing I expect is to see Emma cleaning her side of the room, placing new covers on the mattress and I can't help but tackle her, both of us falling onto the bad.

"Norie!" She laughs, barely audible but I can hear her laughing.

"Emma, I can't believe you are here? Why are you here." I take her hand in my face and smile.

"Thanks." She grins.

"You know what I mean."

"Well, I couldn't switch dorms and I refuses to live back at home. When I finally came to I told my Dad that it wasn't your fault an I was coming back here no matter what. He didn't have a choice, either pay 87 additional dollars a month for a new dorm or let me come back here." She smiles.

"I get what I want, I always do." I shake my head and take post back at my bed, everything is like I left it, drawers hanging from their slots, bed a mess and the bathroom floor wet from my shower.

"Just so you know I kicked his ass."

"Alex's?" Her voice squeaks.

"Yes, It felt good."

"Oh my God. No you didn't." She laughs, going into the bathroom, gripping the handle before slipping but quickly catching her balance.

"Yes, I did ask Ha-"

"Harry? Just say it, it's not like saying his name will make the building come crashing down." She says, all to unaware that it does, the building I have been creating over the years has crumbled since his lips crashed into mine in the kitchen at Liam's, he's been chipping it away since his feet touched the Arizona pavement. I can't let him consume me again, it can't happen and it won't.

"He's not Tom Riddle, Norie." I give her a convincing smile and watch as she crosses the floor to the bed.

"We're going out tonight."

Harry's P.O.V

"She really said that?" I ask, placing my face in my hands. I feel like such an asshole. I am a fucking asshole for chasing after her but I know I can't let her go, there's no way I could go back to England without her, without knowing that I had the chance and didn't take it. I know I can get her, I know I can I just have to try a little harder. It'll be okay, she'll see that it is. No more fucking doubts, no more fucking games.

"Maybe you should take that into consideration." Liam breathes, staring down my red face.

"Yeah, I know. I don't really want to drive to her fucking parents house and confront them, I know they don't like me, not anymore." I fucked up, I really did.

"Call her." Why didn't I think of that, obviously I should call her. "Thanks for um, the-talk." I cringe at the word.

"I'll see you around." He says as I walk to the stairs. I know we won't hell I hope we won't I can't stand to be around another stiff-neck again. Hushed voice creep from the kitchen and soft sobs echo into the Fourier, it's not my problem so I keep walking hoping that she will answer on the first ring.

It takes the forth ring until I hear the familiar click but no voice.

"Hello?"

"Hello?" A male's voice says on the other line. A familiar male voice, fucking Alex.

"Where is Norie?"

"She's- preoccupied at the moment." The sound of a female giggling in the background sends my fingernails through the rubber casing of the steering wheel.

"Is that her, what the hell are you doing with her?"

"No, keep going." He encourages the unknown women that I hope isn't Norie.

"Where is she?"

"I told you. Stop by the house you can have a look for yourself." He says and the line goes dead. Shit!
