Recap: "Fucking hell I love you." He said, unbuckling himself and leaning over the seats before grabbing my face and pressing his lips to mine, in a kiss I wasn't ashamed of Gemma and her mum seeing.
"Larry moment!" His mum squealed, as she took pictures, but all I could concentrate on was my boyfriend's lips.
-
After a few moments of a sweet osculate between his grateful lips and my truthful ones, Harry pulled away with a soft smile, brushing his thumb over my cheek as a small blush appeared on my face.
I had a feeling that picture his mum took was going to come back to haunt us. Speaking of his mum and sister, they both had assorted emotions present on their faces. Gemma's portrayed frustration, and his mum's more of a lost look.
"I think we should start driving now." I mumbled to Harry, pulling my eyes away from them, and he nods. "Of course. How deficient of me." He sighed, kissing my nose, then hesitantly slid back into his seat, having no shame in shooting Gemma a smug smile.
"Yes how so." She said curtly. I was really begining not to like Gemma, she obviously put on a bit of a show the first time I met her. Anne then sighed, that lost look still on her face as she smiled at me.
"You both are perfect for each other. If only Harry's dad had been more like you Louis, he was once, but your much more sincere in your proclamations." She complimented, shaking her head a bit as she pulled her bottom lip inbetween her teeth, the smile fading when she turned her head to look out the window.
Of course I didn't stare at her, but just that brief glance I took when she was talking to me, told me that she was deep down a bit affected seeing Harry had me, and she had an abusive husband who I hated more by the second.
I would've normally said something comforting to a comment like that, but I couldn't seem to form the proper one to say, so I remained quiet, as did Harry and Gemma. For a few minutes everyone was then quiet, tension still circulating the vicinity of the car as Harry pulled back onto the highway, biting his lip softly.
Finally though the silence was broken by him. "Thanks mum, I'd like to think we're a good pair to." He said, winking at me, but not smiling. "Even though we have our flaws." I pointed out, and Harry nodded.
"Such as, Louis is shy in the bedroom." Harry says, making me gasp. "Harry!" I shout, smacking his arm, and he laughed. "Oh come now Louis, stop being a shy little boy." He coo's, then moves a hand off of the steering wheel to slip out his phone, and held it out for me to take.
"Here." He said.
"Why?" I asked, grabbing the phone, and placing it on my lap.
"I need you to go to my contact, and text Katherine that I'll do the meeting Sunday, and tell her to make sure the jet it ready." He said, and I nodded as I began to scroll through his abnormally long list of contacts, then tapped on the one that said Katherine before pulling up the text messages, and sending here a brief one with the information Harry asked me to tell her.
"Sent it." I said, then exiting out of the text messages, before the home screen appeared and of all things his wallpaper was a picture of me sleeping. "When did you take this?" I asked, holding it up, him instantly blushing.
"A couple of nights ago, it was so cute I had to keep it." He said, clearing his throat as a grin began to appear on his face. "Should've let me do my make up first." I scoffed, and Harry laughed as he turned off the highway.
"I will next time." He said, and I nodded as I drifted back over to the text messages and tapped on the ones with my name before scrolling to the top. "Awww!" I cooed loudly, and Anne looked over at me. "Whatcha awwing about?" She asked, and I flashed her the text messages.
"Harry saved every single text message we ever sent to each other." I say, and his mum squeals, a legit grin breaking out on her face. "Aww Hazzy! That's so cute." She cooed, earing a gag from Gemma, and a laugh from me. "Oh be quiet." Harry grumbled, beet read, and I smirked at his discomfort.
"Why did you save them?" I asked, and he turned a brighter red. "S-So I could read them when I m-missed you." He stammered, getting a bit more choked up as me and his mum shared a look, one that consisted of a sly smile.
"Well I think that's precious." I state, closing out the messages and holding the phone back out for him to take.
"Not as precious as you." He mumbled, winking at me again then sliding his phone into one of his front pockets.
-
The rest of the ride we were all quiet, most of the tension growing thin as my questions began to pile on. Why was Harry so close with his baby sister Maya, but so wrathful with Gemma?
They both seemed to strongly dislike each other, and I knew it went much deeper then him driving away an arsehole boyfriend. Then there was his mum. Anne was more laid back, seemed relax with the situation, didn't even seemed unsettled in the slightest when they started fighting.
What was bothering me though was that both of them shared the same flaw, they didn't seem to be quick on the draw when it came to protecting Harry. Gemma had actually sat there watching him get beat up, and I needed to jump in and play hero.
Then when they were bickering Anne made no move to correct Gemma on the first rude thing she said, but did stop her after the whole Harry was desparate for love thing. Don't get me wrong, I loved Anne, but she seemed a bit defeated in a way when it came down to their family situation.
I guess that was understandable though. Then speaking of the devil Anne broke the silence as Harry pulled into the parking lot of the airport
. "Louis?" She said, and I twisted over to glance back at her. "Yes?" She then cocked her head curiously. "Is that an engagement ring?" She asked, gesturing to my promise ring, and I shook my head with a smile.
"Nope. It's a promise ring. The engagement one would be an upgrade." I shrug, and she smiles. "Lets up you upgrade soon." She said, and Harry sighed. "Muuuuum." He whined, looking back at her in the reirview mirror.
"What? Just being honest." She said, swatting his shoulder, and he puckered his lips at her. "Honestly is golden." I point out, and Harry gives me a sly look at he pulled up near the loading dock, his shocking jet standing there in it's glory.
"Nice wheels. Haven't seen it in awhile." Anne says, grabbing her carry on, as Gemma stirred from her drowsy state she had drifted into, and grabbed her bag as well.
"I don't believe I ever showed you a good picture." Harry chuckled, unlocking the doors as some of the workers came over to the trunk and began unloading it into a cart. Aww, I forgot to bring a memor. Well actually, I may or may not've stolen a pen from the hotel we were staying in.
"No I don't-" Anne started, but then was cut off by a loud squeal from outside the car, one that made Gemma look around with a nasty glare. "Oh no." Harry groaned softly as a young woman opened his door, another squeal leaving her lips.
"Harold!" She exclaimed, excitement appearing in her features as annoyance appeared on Harry's. "Emma." He said curtly, all of us opening our doors and getting out of the car.
"I missed you." She whined, grabbing his face and placing a sloppy kiss on his cheek before pulling back to adjust the shirt of her skimpy outfit.
"I didn't." Harry said, glancing over at me and mouthing an appoligy as a small twinge of jealousy twisted in my stomach. "Awww c'mon baby, I know you did." She cooed, grabbing his shirt collar and playing with it.
"We have to go Emma." He grumbled, trying to bat her hands off, but she only tightened her grip, a move that nearly made a nasty word fall out of my mouth. "Oh c'mon, cut the attitude." She groaned, her shrilly voice pentrating my head.
I have to admit this girl was annoying as hell, and her actions weren't only making me jealous, but worried. She seemed to pissing Harry off. "I have no attitude." He states, and she scoffs. "Yeah sure." She said, looking up at him with the look of the devil, and he gave her a sarcastic smile.
"Can we save this for next times visit? I want to go home." He said, the smile fading into a nasty frown. "Why wait Harold?" She purred, then nodded her head towards the limo parked a little ways off. "We can go to my place and have some wine." She said seductively, and I snapped.
"We have to go." I say, giving her sharp look, finding it hard to believe she would dare say such things to him in front of me. "And you are?" She asked, a sneer appearing on her face as she looked over at me, and I swallowed thickly.
What was with the woman in Harry's life? They all were so intimidating.
"Louis." I mumbled, mantaining eye contact, and she raised an eyebrow. "Boy toy of the month?" She asked, and Harry snapped. "Get the fuck off me, and leave me the hell alone!" He snapped, grabbing her by her wrists, and shoving her off as a yelp left her lips.
Normally I wasn't one to agree with being rough with woman, but this was one I'd be willing to hit. "You really should've just left him be Emma." Anne sighed, her and Gemma both giving the girl a dirty look as we brushed by her and over to the steps that led into the jet.
"Harry wasn't lying when he said he hated her." I mumbled, and his mum nodded in agreement. The three of us were then silent as we walked up the steps of the jet. When we walked inside Harry was sitting on one of the love seats next to the tv I now noticed, and he had his hands buried in his head.
"Har-" I started, but his mum shushed me. "Louis go into the room, Harry will be in there in a moment." She said softly, sitting down next to him, and wrapping her arms around him.
"I didn't mean to hurt a girl mummy, I didn't mean t-to." Harry choked out, his voice cracking the way in did before he cried, and I bit my lip harshly as I slipped into the room and tossed my carry on upon the end of the bed, prior to flopping down.
I then allowed the surprise of today's events to settle in. I was surprised, no shocked at Gemma's behavior, and surprised at Emma's appearance. I had thought all this time that Gemma was a sweet sassy kind of sister, but now I was starting to rethink it.
Yet being the nice person I was I was going to give her another chance, because she might be on her period today. Even though deep down something told me that wasn't the full case. Then there was Emma, I was stunned at how pushy she was, she obviously had no shame in acting like a slut.
The way she she was trying so hard to lure Harry back to her place, to get him drunk and crap, was really eating at me.
I could believe those stories Harry had told me earlier where she had tried to black mail him into dating her, then again I couldn't blame her in the attraction sense, because Harry wasn't exactly ugly, and he was quite the charmer.
It seemed though that upon this visit I learned that Maya dying, and his dad weren't his only life problems, a fact that made my heart clench because that wasn't fair.
Why did someone like Harry have to suffer?
Why couldn't someone like me go through some of that in place of him?
I mean, I generally had a good life, average but good. Yes my family had flaws to but they were practically non-existant to Harry's. I could only hope that Gemma wouldn't start causing problems, because then my plan would've backfired.
Maybe that was why Harry hadn't gone through with it before? Because he was afraid to bring them to Doncaster. I wouldn't be surprised if he was afraid to reject my suggestion quite honestly, because Harry rarely seemed to say no to me when it came to stuff like that.
"Louis?" My Harry's tight voice then called, and I pulled my eyes away from the ceiling to look over at him, and I smiled softly. "Hey baby." I said, forcing myself not to make a comment on the tear streaks on his cheeks.
"Can I come lay down?" He asked, and I raised an eyebrow. Why would he ask? I wasn't mad at him, if I had to be mad at anyone it was Emma or Gemma.
"Of course." I said, holding open my arms for him to come cuddle and a small smile appeared on his fallen features as he kicked off his boots, then walked over prior to laying down next to me, and placed his head on my chest as I wrapped my arms around him.
"Why did you cry about it?" I asked, rubbing his arm, and he shrugged. "I don't like hurting people, even when it's nessicary. Especially girls, I never want to hurt girls, but I did." He sighed, nuzzling his face into my chest, and kissing it where my heart beat.
"On accident." I point out, and he shrugs once more. "I still did." He mumbled, his body tensing in my arms, and we both sighed in union. "She deserved it." I say, my words a bit harsh but true. If I had been in Harry's position I probably would've done the same.
"Don't say that Louis." He warned, drapping an arm over my stomach, and pulling me close. "It's true, she wouldn't get off, had to learn her lesson some how." I shrugged, and he looked up at me. "Your not mad at me for it?" He inquired, and I shook my head.
"I don't get mad over stupid things, it's the serious matters I tend to have more of a reaction to." I say, and he nods in agreement. "I didn't scare you?" He asked, obviously still insecure about the scene I had witness.
"Nah." I said, not really being all that affected by what I saw, minus my small streak of jealousy. "Good."
He then took a shaky breath.
"I love you Louis and I would never hurt you. I would only be hurting myself because you are a part of me, and there is nothing in this world that I love more then you." He whispered, kissing my cheek, and I looked down at him with a smile, not bothering to stress the point that the thought of him hurting me never once crossed my mind.
"I know you'd never hurt me, I could never envision a moment like that." I whispered back, earning another kiss on the cheek. "I really love you Louis." He said, and I gave him a sly grin. "I love you more."
He then frowned.
"No. I love you more!"
"No!"
"Yes!"
"I love you more Harry."
I whined, and he huffed sitting up on his elbow.
"Je t'aime plus, ne discute pas avec moi ou je vais te punir." He said, his voice becoming thick, and I cocked an eyebrow. "And that means?" I asked, making a circular gesture with my hand.
"I love you more, don't argue with me or I'll punish you." He said, smirking as he laid back down and pulled me into his arms so he could nuzzle his face into my neck. "Fine." I pouted, cuddling up to him. We were then quiet, both of us shifting around to get comfortable, then Harry pressed his lips to my ear. "
Can I take you in the playroom tonight?" He whispered, placing kisses on my ear, and nipping at my earlobe as a chill passed down my spine. "During the party?" I asked, and he shook his head. "After." He confirmed, blowing hot air in my ear that made me laugh.
"Sure. I don't care." I say, even though my body was reacting violently to his question, and little gestures. "Good. Now get some rest, because tonight will be a long night." He rasped, laying his head back on the pillow and I smiled as I twisted over on my side, and rubbed my nose agianst his.
"Harry?" I cooed, tucking my arms under my chest, and he pulled me closer. "Hmm?" I then took a soft breath before asking a daring question. "Do you and Gemma always fight?" I asked, prior to his closed eyelids fluttering open, a dull look appearing in them.
"Yeah. I just didn't tell you, because I didn't want to make you uncomfortable when you met her." He said, diverting his irisis' away from mine, and I pecked his soft lips.
"Since she's going to be living with you now, I vote you both try to forgive each other for whatever created the wrath, and form a bond." I say, finding it hard to imagine always having nasty fights with my baby sisters.
"I'm not all to fond of her." He said, his eyes flickering up to mine then back down. "Well maybe being with her can change that no?" I infered, refusing to back out of my suggestion now. Harry then fell silent as he took some long sharp breath before sitting up, and pulling his knee's to his chest.
"She was eleven, I was only seven. She left me Louis, and he took his anger out on me because of it. That's very hard to forgive." He said, pressing his lips tightly together in a thin line as he wiped at his eyes with the back of his hand.
"Oh." I said, feeling guilty now for bringing it up, because he obviously was deeply affected by that.
Though what did he mean by she left?
"I'm sorry, I didn't know. That was wrong, she should've protected you." I say quickly, and he looks down at me with unshed tears glistening in his eyes.
"Yeah." He muttered, then laid back down next to me, and I wrapped my arms around him with out another shed word.
