Breaking Fate

I stand in front of the mirror as I adjust my dress. I hope it’s appropriate for where we’re going. All Harry ever told me was, wear something pretty, but casual and bring a bathing suit. I suddenly hear a knock at the door. I immediately tense up. I look at the mirror and say to myself, “Breath. This will be different.” I quickly run down the stairs before I have any more doubts. Thank goodness Harry’s parents were watching the kids again.

“We’re almost there,” Harry says as he pulls over. “Why are you pulling over,” I ask as he pulls out a blindfold. “Well we wouldn’t want the surprise to be spoiled,” he replies with a smirk as he ties the blindfold over my eyes.
I feel the car stopping and then the engine turning off. Then a car door opens and closes. Harry. That’s when I hear my door open and a warm hand reaches out, guiding me out of the car. Harry picks me up bridal-style and walks for about 2 minutes before setting me down on my feet. I can feel small, rough pieces of rock, but they aren’t rocks. Their too small. Sand. Its sand. Now that explains the bathing suit. “You may open your eyes,” Harry says as he slips the blindfold off my head. I immediately gasp. There was a picnic(2nd from bottom) all set up on the beach. There was a beautiful view of the ocean in front of us with the sun setting behind it, casting beautiful colors on the waves. It was perfect. I couldn’t help the smile on my face as I launched myself at Harry. I attacked him with a hug, but quickly started kissing him. Before I could get to far though, Harry pulls away and softly caresses my bottom lip while saying, “Why don’t we eat before you get too carried away.” I blush as I take a seat on the blanket.

I lay on the blanket looking at the sunset as the last few rays start to climb behind the water. Suddenly, Harry stands up and grabs my arm as he pulls his shirt over his head. I stare at him, confused. “You want to go swimming?” he questions. I was about to respond when the last of Harry’s shirt is over his head. Damn he was hot. I was left speechless. Damn, damn, damn. It would have been so helpful if someone all of a sudden appeared and told me how in how in hell I got this guy!?! “S-s-u-re,” I mumble. Harry smirks like he can read my mind. What am I thinking, of course he can, I’m staring at his chest like an idiot. He helps me to my feet as I pull my dress over my head and drop my stuff on the blanket. I look up at him and see he is staring at me in my bathing suit. “Now who’s staring?” I say as I head down to the water’s edge, moving my hips from side to side, teasing him. As I turn around to see what he’s doing, I feel my feet leaving the ground. Then the cold ocean water hits my skin as Harry splashes into the water. When we reach deep water, he tosses me. I feel the cold water engulf me as I sink under. I open up my eyes and see Harry in front of me. Then he crashes his lips(4th from top) onto mine. As his lips stay firmly on mine, I feel his hands holding my back so I can’t escape. We stay like that for at least 30 seconds before the need for air becomes too much and we both kick towards the surface. As I surface, I take a few gulps of air before I crash my lips back onto Harrys. Harry’s hands move to my butt as I jump, wrapping my legs around his waist. He starts moving towards the shoreline, not breaking the now heated kiss. Just as he starts moving out of the water, a wave comes up and hits us hard, knocking us to the ground. I break the kiss and start laughing as I look up at Harry. I still have my legs wrapped around him and he’s still hovering over me. I smile as I press my lips to his again. God I love this man!
