Zayn's POV

Yes, I happened to agree with Jessie. That was terrible. Not only was I not capable of both song and speech, but I was also worried about what happened to my other bandmate. Niall, Liam and Louis were not around yet and I obviously couldn't call the attention of either Harry or Jessie, who were arguing about something.

"...Niall and Liam." I heard Harry say.

"No, we have to tell him now!" For some reason, Jessie's voice was unusually loud, as she is usually a soft-spoken person. Harry mumbled something inaudible and I saw Jessie give him a quizzical look. I heard Jessie say something about trust and Harry's voice rose.

"IT'S NOT LIKE I'M NOT GONNA TELL HIM, IT'S JUST THAT WHAT IF SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS?! I CAN'T TAKE CARE OF ZAYN AND NEITHER CAN YOU!!!"

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE?!" Niall's voice penetrated the closed door. I heard someone telling Niall to tone down and the door opened, revealing Niall, who had his hands on his hips, and a confused looking Liam.

"Yes guys, what is going on?" Liam asked.

"Zayn woke up." Harry said hurriedly.

"Psh, you expect me to believe that after all the yelling I've been hearing?" Niall was angry. "You're lying, Harry, STOP!!!"

"NIALL!!!" Liam shouted. "STOP SHOUTING, OK?"

"WELL HOW CAN I NOT SHOUT WHEN THIS SO CALLED TRUTHFUL BABE SUDDENLY TELLS A LIE???"

"Well, Zayn is awake," Jessie said. "So it's not a lie."

"I KNOW, BUT HE'S LEAVING SOMETHING OUT!!! I CAN SEE IT IN HIS EYES, HE DOESN'T TRUST ME!!!" He turned to Liam and spoke softly. "It's as if the worst hasn't already happened." Liam's eyes widened.

"Shush, Niall," he mumbled.

"Harry, I think it's high time they knew the truth." Jessie said. The truth? What truth? Is there something I shouldn't know?

"Who?" Harry raised an eyebrow.

"Niall, Liam and Zayn."

"What truth?"

"The truth."

"Are you sure that's a good idea?"

"No I'm not sure. But they ought to know, Harry, they're your best friends. You trust them, right?" Harry let out a huge sigh.

"Fine, but if anything bad happens..."

"I'm here, Hazza bear." Jessie put her hand on his shoulder and smiled. Harry smiled back, then he looked in my direction.

"Thumbs up if you can hear me, Zayn." For some reason, his voice was shaky. I gave a thumbs up, still clueless about what was going on.

"Liam, you might want to go in the bathroom." Homigash, NO. I could feel the blood rushing through my veins faster than usual. What happened to Louis? Liam ran into the bathroom and closed the door gently. Harry spoke slowly, choosing his words carefully.

"I hate to break this to you Zayn, but Louis is dead." No. I did not just hear that. I closed my eyes, feeling the tears build up. No wonder Liam had tensed up! You do not talk lightly about death with that Liam Payne. He hates death, I'm telling you. I heard Liam fumbling with the door and as he emerged from the bathroom, I saw the tears in his eyes.

"Please don't say that word. Of all the words, I hate it so much." He walked over to me. "Zayn, please tell me you're not gonna die." Hey Liam, I'd love to tell you that everything's fine, but I can't. Harry answered for me in a sarcastic tone.

"Geez Liam, don't ask him to do something he can't do!" Niall sighed.

"Stop beating around the bush, Harry, just SAY IT!!!"

"Um..." Harry's eyes widened. "Zayn... Zayn can't sing or talk." Liam let out a cuss word.

"How the hell do they expect three boys to do this on their own?"

"Well, I'm not going out there until they get me a wig!" Harry said, crossing his arms.

"NO HARRY YOU ARE NOT GONNA MISS THIS FREKING CONCERT!!!" Niall shouted.

"I WILL DO WHATEVER I PLEASE, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!"

"SHUSH!!!" For some reason, Liam's voice was louder now that he was crying. "Guys, we have to be strong. We just have to be happy! We can't give up now!" Everyone was looking at him oddly. "I know we'll never be the same without Louis and Zayn's voices, but I want to show the world that we can do this. We are still One Direction at heart and we will never forget our loved ones who have departed. We are doing this for them and for all those fans!" I gave two thumbs up and the others smiled in agreement. However, determined as I was to stand on the stage and make the most out of it, I was scared. What will the fans think? What are they thinking anyway?
