That Girl

Marnie's POV

"Ow, Silvie, enough with the eyebrows!" I said in a pained voice as I yanked her hand with the tweezers away from my face. "Pain is beauty, Mar!" She said in a high, sing-songy voice. "We need to make an impression on the boys, you know, since we're in the second row!" Silvie stated matter-of-factly. She tried to come at me again with the tweezers but I swatted her away. "I know, I know, pain is beauty, pain is beauty. But please, no more eyebrows!"

Marnie's POV

"A limo Silv, Seriously?" I asked in disbelief as we walked out of her house and I spotted the sleek black vehicle parked on the curb. "Of course! Remember, it's all about the impression. Now get in!" She said forcefully as I slowly scooched my way into the large transport. I tried to look out the window; of course, the windows were tinted. I felt my phone vibrate on my lap and I picked it up. It read: "Ayanna Jones: Text Message." I swiped across the screen and typed in 8-5-0-3. "Hey gurl. Just wonderin how the concert's going. You totally shoulda stayed back tho. Me, Max, Jacob, Lexi, Red, Linda, Remy, and Alex are having a food fight in the park and then going to Jacob's for movie night. But whatever, TTYL xx" I pondered her message for a moment, then replied with: "Sounds fun! Concert hasn't started yet, Miss you! ~marnie olsen." I set my phone in my jeans pocket and lounged back into the comfy seat.

I glanced over to Silvie. She was reapplying lip gloss for the twelfth time. "Silvie, seriously, lay off on the lip gloss," I moaned. She complied and handed me the small, pink cylinder. "Oh, we're here!" My excited friend squealed as the car slowed to a stop. The driver came around to our door and let us out. As soon as the door opened, deafening screams immediately made their ways to my ears. There must've been about 50,000 girls surrounding the concert hall when we arrived.

As I was looking at all the squealing girls in an amazed state, I felt a hand clasp around mine. I looked down and saw Silvie's hand wrapped in mine. She began to pull me through the enormous pack of girls and the screams got louder as the crowd enveloped me. Eventually we made our way to the ticket booth. "Ticket girls?" The broker asked in a sassy and exhausted voice. "Yeah, here they are," Silvie said happily as she practically threw the tickets at the woman. "Okay, thank you. Have a good concert. Next?" She said as she handed back the tickets to us. Silvie bolted through the doors to the concert hall, still holding my hand, and she led us towards a merchandise table.

"Are you kidding me Silvie? It's $45 dollars for a T-shirt. I wouldn't-" "Two of the black T-shirts and a bear please." Silvie said with a sweet smile. "Okay, here you girls are, that will be $110." He said, his eyes glued to Silvie's chest; he must've thought she had been flirting with him. She handed over her credit card and he grabbed it out of her hand. He swiftly slid it through the little credit card scanner then handed it back over. "Have a great concert," He said, looking at Silvie. She was oblivious. Silvie, once again, grabbed my wrist and started pulling me towards a door. "Are you ready?!" She asked in an overly excited tone. "Yeah, yeah, I guess," I said and put a fake smile on. She opened the door and we started to walk down to our section. We walked through a bunch of people and pushed people aside. "Okay, Silvie, be careful. You almost pushed that little kid to the ground." "Mar, we have to get there soon. The concert is starting soon!" She said dismissively. "Whatever," I muttered as we kept going down more steps.

I began to feel really guilty. There were so many little girls in the top sections that seemed so unhappy that they were so far away. I didn't deserve front row; I barely knew who these people were that were about to perform.

After about 10 minutes of maneuvering our way down the concert hall, we arrived at our section. There was a man who asked for our tickets and we handed him them. He wished us a good concert and we went and sat down at our seats. "I think it's starting! Stand up, Marnie," Silvie said happily. Suddenly the lights went down and extremely loud screams erupted, including Silvie's scream. Five boys walked on the stage and the crowd just went nuts. They walked so close to our seats under the stage that Sivle nearly fainted. "Welcome! You all havin' a good night?" One of them asked; I didn't know who, I was too busy keeping Silvie on her feet. Screams pierced my ears again as they heard the boys ask how they were.

They started to sing and everyone just went crazy. It wasn't like any concert I had ever been to before. Their songs were pretty good, and there were some upbeat ones that I really liked, I think one was called Kiss You. I actually started to dance, too.

Harry's POV

We were having a blast. We were doing all the correct moves and it looked awesome. Niall and I passed eachother on the stage as we were supposed to at that moment. Soon that song ended and we started another; Kiss You. It went by pretty fast and my turn to sing was coming up soon. Just then I noticed a girl in the second row who was dancing. She was gorgeous. Her long, flowing blonde hair was being flipped all over the place and her friend was doing it too. I was mesmerized.

I couldn't stop looking at this girl. I knew if I ever saw her again, I would say something. I mean, she would be all over me. She's a fan, right? It would be easy. "Oh, god, she's so perfect," I thought to myself. Her lips were plump and rosy and her icy blue eyes were startling. She had amazing high cheek bones; I just couldn't stop staring.

I almost forgot about my solo. I sang it with a little more feeling, trying to get this girl to notice. Why wasn't she looking up here? Every other person in the place was. I kind of forgot some of my moves and I caught a annoyed glance from Louis on the other side of the stage. Whatever, I didn't care. I needed this girl.
