Bad Boy's Advice
Niall’s POV
I tiptoed in the room, making sure Hailie wouldn’t hear me. Once I was in place, I bounced in.
‘’Cannonbaaaaall!!’’ I yelled.
Hailie only moved due to me. She hadn’t opened her eyes or freaked out.
‘’Niall, your stealth skills are as good as my tolerance with alcohol.’’ She huffed.
Oh, she saw me.
‘’Come on, you’re exaggerating; yes, I’m not a pro, but I’m not that bad.’’
She slapped me in the chest. After a moment of silence, Hailie propped herself with her elbows.
‘’Tell me what I did at the party.’’ She said out of the blues.
‘’Uh…’’ I tapped my finger on my chin. ‘’I wasn’t always with you, but I remembered you jumped on Harry and you tried to kiss him.’’
Her eyes widened. ‘’You’re kidding me.’’
I shook my head. ‘’At least he had prevented you to do it. You were so pissed off, you ran in Perrie’s bedroom and-‘’
‘’Oh right, I remembered. We argued about my stupid mother. What else I’ve done?’’ She asked to change the subject and end that part of the conversation. Talking about Maggie wasn’t her number one topic.
‘’Well… last time I saw you, Harry was forcing you to drink water in the kitchen. You wouldn’t, so you opened the fridge and that’s how you started the mustard battle. Your target was Harry, but your aiming is bloody awful. You fired on me, so I got involved in the mustard battle. After that, I’ve played Beer Pong with Jayden and Will and some girls. Next thing I knew, I woke up cuddling with Harry.’’
She laughed at my last sentence. Seriously, there is a blank space between the Beer Pong and this morning. I don’t know how we decided to sleep like that.
‘’Oh, and Eleanor told me you tried to wash Louis’ hair with beer. I think you should ask Harry; you spend most of the time with him.’’ I concluded.
She nodded but suddenly stopped her action. She stared at the wall, her mouth partly open. That’s mean she just recalled something that occurred at the party.
‘’I said to Harry I wanted to present him someone.’’
‘’And? What’s the matter?’’ I didn’t get what was the problem, until it popped into my mind.
‘’Oh…’’
Harry’s POV
‘’… For a total of 42 dollars and 90 cents. You can go ahead, thank you for choosing McDonald’s.’’
‘’Damn. Hope you have some cash; no way I’m paying for everyone!’’ Zayn said and sped up to join the stand where we had to pay our meals. I rummaged in my pocket to find my wallet. At least, I hadn’t lost it somewhere in Perrie’s house.
‘’I have 20 bucks.’’ I handed him the bill.
‘’Thanks.’’ Zayn took it and stopped the car. ‘’So, is there a thing going on between Hailie and you?’’
‘’What do you mean?’’ I said as serious as possible, but I couldn’t stop my smile when I thought about Hailie.
‘’Come on, I’m not stupid. I saw you dancing with her.’’
‘’How come you saw that?’’
‘’I have eyes, dummy.’’ Zayn pointed his eyes.
‘’I mean, you were arguing with Niall about Perrie or something like that.’’ I clarified.
‘’Yeah, I don’t get along with that guy. I used to be friend with Hailie in elementary, and Niall wasn’t really approving. I don’t know why. I guess we just can’t stand each other. But still, even a blind could have seen Hailie and you dancing. It’s was steamy man!’’
‘’Thanks?’’ I chuckled.
‘’No problem bro.’’
The cashier knocked on the window. Zayn slide it down so he could hand him the 20 bucks plus some of his cash.
‘’So, is there something or not?’’ Zayn drove to the next stand, where we were receiving our meals. ‘’Come on, you can tell me. We are no more kiddo.’’
What do I have to lose? It won’t hurt if I tell him.
‘’I’ve made a big mistake…’’ I confessed. I passed my hands through my hair and rested them behind my head. ‘’She was drunk and she tried to kiss me, but I stop her, because I knew she would regretted. She didn’t take it well, so she ran away. After a moment or so, I entered the room she was in, and she was laying on the ground. I pulled her up and brought her to the bathroom before she puked everywhere and she was wondering why I was taking care of her, why I was so… so lovely with her I guess. I hesitated, but I told her my feelings, and as I expected, she seemed to have forgotten.’’
‘’And now, you don’t know if it’s better to act like nothing happened or ask her if she remembered.’’ Zayn solved.
I nodded. Since the window was still opened, we heard the cashier giving us our order.
‘’There! Have a good meal!’’
Zayn thanked the guy and grabbed the three bags. He gave me the bags before closing the window and drove back to Perrie’s house.
‘’I’ll be honest with you mate; I never had this kind of problem with girls.’’ He chuckled. ‘’Usually, my previous girlfriends were all sober when I made the first move. So yeah, telling Hailie that you wished you two would be more than friends while she’s drunk as hell wasn’t the most brilliant idea.’’
‘’I know, plus it’s only been five days we’ve known each other. She’ll surely think it’s too fast.’’ I added.
‘’I think you should wait. See how things move between Hailie and you. If you feel like the moment is suitable for that kind of discussion, well go for it. If you wonder if she’s feeling the same way towards you, don’t push her. One think I remembered and won’t forget about Hailie, it’s to never, ever try to get words out of her mouth when she’s not ready to deliver them. ’’ Zayn said.
He was right. I can’t just go now and asked her that. I have to wait.
I have this strange feeling it won’t be a pleasure to wait…

The rest of the ride was filled up by our laugh and some information about us, getting to know each other. Zayn pulled up in the driveway. He grabbed one bag and I took the two others. When we stepped in the house, everyone was up, chatting around the living room.
‘’There you are!’’ Perrie greeted us.
‘’With food!’’ Jayden exclaimed.
‘’Harry, did you draw this on my face?’’ Will arrived angrily pointing what was on his cheek.
‘’That’s Louis’ signature.’’ I replied.
‘’Meh, I was bored and everyone was sleeping. I had to mess up someone’s face.’’ Louis shrugged.
We laughed and Zayn and I head to the kitchen, followed by everyone.
‘’Alright. It cost 42$ and something. You guys own us something.’’ Zayn gestured the both of us.
‘’We have…’’ I started to dig in the bags and called out what we brought home. ‘’ Four sausage McMuffins, four bacon McMuffins, two bacon and egg bagel, two breakfast burritos and two fruit and yogurt parfait. Everyone had one hash brown.’’
‘’Are we obliged to eat all of it?’’ Eleanor asked.
‘’If there is leftovers, it will end in Niall’s stomach anyway.’’ Hailie pointed out.
‘’I’ll just take a hash brown.’’ El said.
‘’And I have to go. I’m supposed to be back at 11 am at my house. Thanks for yesterday Perrie!’’ Will added, washing his cheek.
We waved Will goodbye before each one seized what they wanted and we started to eat. I unwrapped my two sausage McMuffins and shuffled them in my mouth. I was hungry. Like, really hungry.
From time to time, I watched Hailie eating her yogurt. Sometimes, I caught her already staring at me. Maybe she did remember.
Breakfast was really cool: we would tell stories that happened yesterday night, facts, how greasy but yummy the McDonald’s was. You know, a good breakfast with a bunch of people all hangover. Well, the alcohol affected more the girls than us, the boys.
We decided to spend the day here, watching all kinds of movies. When everyone had finished and going back to the living room, Hailie tapped lightly my shoulder.
‘’Hey Harry. I uh… I was wondering if you… You uh… You remembered that… uh…’’
Is she talking about what I’ve said to her? My heart began to beat faster.
‘’Even if I was drunk… I… Were you sincere?’’ She continued.
She remembered. I could felt my cheeks getting pinker and pinker. I nodded slowly, not breaking eye contact with Hailie.
‘’So, you still want to meet her?’’

No, not eating this time!
WATCHING MIDNIGHT MEMORIES' VIDEO! :D The guys are fantastic in that video! The beginning is so funny XD
But after, what do I do? Posting! :D Yeah! But I need to be quick, 'cause my best friend is hosting a party for her birthday, I need to prepare myself. But the sad part is, I can't drink, I'm on medication. Sweet and short: I may have a chronic sinusitis. I don't want to go into details :P
