Blowing Kisses

"Hey Liam. Uh..I need you. Please call. I really...really need you. I love you. Bye" I said, to the beep on my phone. I blew a kiss into the phone. Tears were welling up in my eyes. At this point, my life was a typical sad song music video. I was crying every few minutes. Sherri sits on the couch all day, sleeping. She never eats. Carol has been avoiding me and my calls for a week. I should have never went back to Liam. No, I never should have met Liam.

*Carol’s POV*
Penelope was known to never give up. That is most of the time, a good thing. But she won't give up on calling me. I will get up to 50 missed calls a day, all coming from her phone number. And she never gave up on Liam either. And I’m not mad at her anymore. I..I just am going to college soon and I don’t want her to have to miss me.

*Sherri’s POV*
I sighed. I feel very weak and hungry. Penelope will occasionally bring me a sandwich or soup. I don’t eat it.
“Sherri?” I hear a voice outside of my door. Penelope walks in, frowning and her eyes red. I sigh again.
“I said leave me-”
“Sherri. I know you don’t want to talk to me. But I just need you to know that I love you. And I regret leaving you and Carol. I don’t want you to be depressed. Carol won't talk to me, and neither will you. I wish you knew how awful it feels.” She stated, tears falling down her face. I got up, on my wobbly, weak feet and hugged Penelope. She hugged me back. Tears were falling from my face onto her scalp.
