Stole My Heart

Laurel's P.O.V.

I sat down and sighed. I was going on tour with them! My heart leapt and I felt both nervous and excited. I figured that I wouldn't be able to sleep, despite the fact that it was nearly 2:30 in the morning, so I decided to pack. I stood looking around my room for five minutes before realizing that I had absolutely no idea what to pack! What do you take when you go on tour for eight months with One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer?

I gave up and threw myself onto my bed sighing. I stared up at the ceiling thinking about everything that had happened in less than a month. I mean, Niall Horan asked me out! I thought about him and began to question myself. Did I make the right decision by turning him down? A million thoughts went whirling through my mind. I thought about why I had said no and knew that the reason wasn’t what I had told Niall it was. I didn’t want to date Niall because I had feelings for Luke too even though I tried to tell myself that wasn’t the reason why. I sighed and rolled over. My eyes fell on the rose from Niall that was lying on my nightstand. I picked it up and held it up to my nose. One of its petals had already fallen off but I didn’t mind. It made me think of Niall and my heart began to race.

I glanced at my clock and saw that it was now nearly 3:15! I decided that I should probably get some sleep. I could always pack tomorrow. But before my head even touched my pillow I sat up abruptly. I forgot to tell Luke! Would he mind if I called him at 3:15? I debated with myself for a few minutes before deciding to text him. I didn’t want to call him because I’d probably be up for another hour and I didn’t want to wake him up. I texted him the good news and laid down. The seconds I closed my eyes however, I realized that I should probably tell Sarah, Nina and Heather. I texted them as well before finally closing my eyes.
