Stole My Heart

I thought about what Niall had said for the rest of the day and practically all through the night. I weighed both the pros and the cons and to my surprise found more pros than cons. The biggest con however, was that I wouldn’t be able to start college until next year. I didn’t really know what my parents would think if I didn’t go to college right away like my older sister, Holly, and I wasn’t quite sure that I wanted to find out. But this is a once in a life-time opportunity, and I couldn’t just pass it up; I couldn’t just let Niall slip away from me. So I sat and debated with myself all night long. Eventually, I had made up my mind so I grabbed my phone and decided to tell Niall my choice.

Niall’s P.O.V.

I awoke suddenly to the sound of my phone ringing. The boys and I were sharing a hotel room so I tried to be quiet so that I wouldn’t wake them.I glanced at my clock and saw that it was nearly 2:30. ‘Who would be calling at this hour?’ I thought to myself as I reached for my phone.

“Hello?” I asked a bit too loudly. Liam sat up and told me to be quieter before laying back down, attempting to go back to sleep.

“Niall?” the voice asked into the phone.

“Laurel? Do you have any idea what time it is?” I questioned sleepily.

“Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry Niall! I didn’t realize that it was this late,” she exclaimed.

“It’s fine. I’m up now so what’s on your mind?” I said yawning.

“Well, I’ve been thinking all night about what you said, and I’ve decided.” she took a deep breath before continuing. “I want to come with you on tour for eight months!” she stated excitedly.

I was really awake now. I couldn’t believe it! She wanted to come on tour with me for eight months! I could see her everyday and not have to worry about leaving and never seeing her again. Everything would be perfect.

“That’s great!” I exclaimed. Liam sat up once again and told me to shut up but I didn’t care. Nothing could spoil this moment right now.

“ I know!” she yelled in anticipation. “ What day did you say we were leaving?”

“The day after tomorrow.” I stated.

“Crap! That doesn’t leave me much time to pack does it?” she asked.

“No, I’m afraid not.” I replied. “Did you get your parent’s permission?” I asked hesitantly.

“I’m going to talk to them first thing in the morning. For right now I think that I’ll start packing.”

“Don’t you think that you should be getting to bed?” I asked.

“Probably, but I’m too excited to go to sleep,” she said.

“All right, well I’m going to try to get some rest. Goodnight Laurel.” I said happily.

“Goodnight Niall.” She replied before hanging up.

I sighed and tried to imagine what going on tour with her would be like and ended up staying up all night doing so.
