Stole My Heart

I, as always, was the first person to get up. I was 6:26. I quietly went upstairs and got a quick shower and dried my hair. I threw on a pair of skinny jeans, a black Sherlock t-shirt, and a pair of black boots. Then, I grabbed my book (J. R. R. Tolkien's The Silmarilian) and went downstairs to see if my friends were awake.

Nina was wide awake and checking the time and Sarah looked like she had just gotten up. Heather however was still fast asleep. Sarah sat up groggily and moaned saying, "What time is it?"

"Uh," Nina said glancing down at her watch, "6:50."

"We should probably get Heather up. Especially if she's planning on doing her hair." I said.

"Yeah," Nina replied impatiently, "We all know that'll take at least an hour."

We yelled her name for about five minutes but it didn't work.

Sarah eventually ended up screaming, "Oh my gosh, it's One Direction!" and what do you know - Heather sits straight up and asks, "Where?"

We all laughed for a little before the girls took turns getting showers. I sat down and read while the other girls got ready. They were finished by about 7:50 so we went to eat breakfast.

The girls sat down while I got out the cereal, fruit, yogurt, and bagels. Jordan and Sean, who must have snuck off earlier, were running around with their Captain America and Hulk action figures.

"Hey, settle down." I scolded before telling them to sit down and eat.

Wen we were done the other girls got dressed while I got the little boys' clothes out. By then it was 8:40 so we decided to do our hair. Sarah had already braided hers and was taking it out, Heather curled hers, Nina, whose hair was naturally straight, just combed through it, and I straightened my hair. Heather took an hour to do her hair because, well, she had a lot of hair- a lot!

It was 9:45 and we were all ready to go. My mom came down to check on us.

"Where are you girls going?" she asked as we were putting our shoes on.

"Well," I said after a while, "The boys wanted to spend their last day in Pennsylvania with us. They said they'd be by to pick us up a 10:00."

"Again with those boys," my mom said sighing and rolling her eyes. "What time will you be back? Last night you must have gotten home at midnight."

"Probably around 11:00." I said a bit irritated. We were 18, we could take care of ourselves.

"Just make sure those boys don't try anything."

"Mom," I said, "Heather's dating one of those boys. And we'll be fine. I don't know why you worry so much."

"Well, just as long as you don't start dating one of those pop stars or your father will have a bird."

"Yeah mom." I replied not really listening.

She went upstairs and the doorbell rang. I answered the door and smiled.

I looked down at my phone. "Right on time." I said, a bit impressed.

"Ready?" Louis asked grinning at Heather.

"Yup." Sarah replied.

"Let's go then." Niall said taking my hand.
