Stole My Heart

We finished the concert with Live While We're Young and What Makes You Beautiful. Niall held my hand throughout the rest of the concert. I noticed my friends and the other boys looked over a few times but I didn't care - it's not like we'd ever go out or anything. The guys from 5 Seconds of Summer showed up backstage before the end of the concert. Ashton kept his eyes on Sarah the whole time. I knew he liked her.

After What Makes You Beautiful we all ran offstage laughing like idiots. Sarah Heather, Nina and I all gave each other a hug and laughed some more. Ashton came over and gave Sarah a hug, whispering something in her ear. It looked like Niall was about to do the same when Luke rushed over and gave me one.

He was holding onto me tightly saying, "You were great! I knew you could do it!" His blue eyes were shining. I just kept smiling and shaking my head.

"Don't lie to me! I hate it when people lie. I appreciate the fact that you're trying to be nice and all but please..."

"Laurel," Luke interrupted me, his Australian accent was thick, "I would never, never lie to you." He looked into my eyes as he said this and brushed the hair away from them. Luke was so sweet and so shy in front of the cameras - just like me. Why do I like guys with blonde hair and blue eyes? Well, Niall isn't a natural blonde - but still.

I glanced over at Niall as Luke gave me another hug. The smile had vanished from his face and something in his eyes told me he was upset about something. I told myself to ask him about it later.

The rest of the boys came over and hugged each of us. Then Liam said, "You guys were absolutely fantastic!"

"Yeah, uh huh." Nina said, not buying it for a second.

Liam just shrugged and replied, "You were."

We all just said thanks and laughed again.

"We'd probably better go get our stuff from our dressing rooms." Louis said looking at Heather.

"Go ahead." I responded.

As they were walking back to their dressing rooms, Niall glanced back at me from over his shoulder, disappointment still in his eyes. He seemed totally fine at the concert. What could be bugging him now?
