Edward and Percy pointed the stakes at them, backing up slightly, they looked calm but James could see the slight tremor to their hands holding the stakes.

Niall let out a low growl from his throat then it all happened so fast a James couldn't react, Niall moved so fast he was a blur as he ripped the stake from Percy's hand then grabbed his head and pulled it by the hair downwards hard, then bit deeply into Percy's neck. Percy screamed and struggled but it was no use...

Zayn did the same to Edward but snapped the stake in half instead and Edward didn't scream but he struggled a lot but still it was no use, the two vampires hadn't been lying, when they said they were hungry, they both drank deeply from their prey.

And very quickly, in what seemed like a heart beat they were dead...James was petrified, never had he been bested by two vampires so easily. And watch his friends get drained dry like that...

Edward and Percy's body was soon dropped to the ground, the blood had aloud Niall and Zayn's vampire instances full rein, their eyes were a dark red and their fangs on full show. Zayn let out a powerful snarl like an animal, showing how much the blood was affecting him.

The two now more powerful and blood thirsty vampires stalked towards James, Niall grabbed him by the throat and lifted him in the air easily and was about to bite down when Zayn snarled "Wait!"

His voice had an animalistic timber running through it.

"What is it?" Niall hissed.

Zayn held James's head of high and murmured "There's something familiar about this one"

Niall looked him up and down "You know, you are right"

Zayn growled "Whats your name Hunter! Speak!"

James stuttered "James"

Zayn snapped "No! Full name"

James gasped out in pain "J-james Nimh"

Niall let James go in surprise and then...he laughed hard, Zayn smiled broadly and his eyes twinkled with cruel amusement.

Zayn smirked and sniggered "Looks like Daddy's got a secret"

James tensed, the sudden death of his friends going completely out of his mind, all he thought about was protecting his daughter "What do you know about my daughter?"

Niall said with a dangerous sweetness "What? You mean Ruby? More than you I wager"

Zayn said mockingly "I think we're going to spare you tonight James, but I think you better have a talk with your daughter soon"

James snapped "What are you talking about? Leave my daughter out of this!"

Niall sneered "Your daughter's already stuck right in the middle of it, you can't leave her out of this"

Zayn said cooly "Your wife was a slayer wasn't she?"

James stammered "Y-yes, how do you know this?"

Zayn chuckled "Come on Hunter, don't you recognise us? You must have seen us around when we were human. you did go to to Ruby's school at least a couple of times"

James squinted at Zayn, trying to look past the vampire aspects then he gasped "You're a student at the school! You both are, but that would mean..." His eyes narrowed "Stay away from Ruby"

"Sorry hunter, I'm afraid we can't do that" Niall said mockingly.

Niall picked up a bloodied stake and started to fiddle around with it in his hands.

Zayn laughed "You both are so blind to whats going on in front of your nose's, its no wonder your related"

"What are you talking about!" James almost yelled, getting to frustrated.

Zayn leaned in and said "I'll tell you if you don't tell Ruby we've had this chat..."

James spat feeling slightly braver "Chat? You killed two of my friends!"

Niall sneered "They'll die anyway from vampires, all Hunters do"

James asked slightly hopeful "Your letting me go?"

Zayn said firmly "Only if you agree to not tell Ruby or our little encounter..."

James grinder his teeth together then snapped "Okay, fine!"

Zayn smirked then leaned in closer and murmured in James's ear "Your daughters a slayer James, she was the one that ordered that slaughter you heard about, they don't just have the same names, they are the same people! Your daughter has been killing vampires behind your back"

Before James could ask why should he trust the information and where the hell did it come from Zayn had vanished, using his vampire speed, leaving Ruby's Dad with Niall.

"See you later James" Niall said menacingly, giving him a mock wave before he to vanished into thin air.

James let out a long breath and slid down the wall, he started to cry silently mourning for his friends and thinking he really needed a talk with Ruby soon...
