Late into the night, three men were standing outside a pub.

"You alright James?" One of them asked gruffly, his name was called Percy and the third man with them was called Edward.

James sighed "Its just my daughter, Percy, she still doesn't know"

Percy said smoking a pipe "You're going to have to tell her at some point"

James said scratching the back of his neck nervously "Thats what I'm afraid of, she even saw my wound on my arm, I had to lie about it and I think she had a pretty good idea I was lying"

Percy comforted him "Just tell her, whats the worse that could happen?"

James snapped "I don't know?! Maybe she'll hate me? She already doesn't like the fact I go away for so long"

Percy seeing James wasn't going to change his mind, he changed the subject "Hey Edward, do you know when everyone is meeting up again?"

Edward grunted "I think about a week from now? Any way are you to girls finished comforting each other? We have work to do, remember?"

The three men suddenly looked more serious as they all brought out sharp pointed pieces of wood...stakes.

They shoved the stakes in their huge coat pockets and walked into the pub.

James took out a small metal device from his pocket then turned the sound on, they watched the crowd, to see if anyone reacted to the sound.

Edward muttered "Bingo"

James and Percy looked to where he was looking, a young women was gasping, grabbing her head in the far corner of the pub. James, Percy and Edward smirked as they got out their fake under cover police badges so they were aloud to drag her out of the pub.

James grabbed her wrist, noting how cold it was, that was a good sign. It took three men to pull her from the pub, when she was outside, she started to hiss and scratch "Let me go" she screeched.

James watched as two of her teeth suddenly became pointed and sharp, she desperately tried to bite them but they held her down even though it took all of their strength to do so and they dragged her into an alleyway round the back of the pub.

Edward ordered "Get her ready"

They acted on instinct like they'd done this a hundred times before, which they had... Edward and Percy held her, while James took the deadly stake out of his coat pocket, the female vampire struggled even more at the sight of the stake.

James sneered "Say hello to the devil for me"

The vampire suddenly stiffened then she suddenly smile and laughed "Why don't you instead?"

Before James could wonder why she looked so amused, he didn't hear the warning shouts of his fellow vampire hunters when he was slammed into the wall, so hard for a few seconds he didn't know where he was and the brick crumbled beneath him.

"Don't you know? Its rude to abuse a lady" A male voice hissed mockingly in his ear before he was let go. James slumped to the ground and he froze with shock as he saw two other vampires had joined the gathering, surrounding the three men.

Edward cursed while Percy just froze like James had with fear.

The female vampire said to the two male vampires "I'll let you handle them boys" then she shot the hunters a dirty look before she vanished using her vampire speed.

James managed to stands up by the wall with shaky feet as he looked at the vampires, they looked to be in their late teens or very early twenties. Though they did look familiar?

"Look what we have hear Niall, a couple of useless vampire hunters" One of them sneered, James quickly relised that was the vampire who had held him against the wall.

The blonde vampire, Niall smiled like a shark as he replied "Its lucky they are here, I am rather hungry, what do you think Zayn?"

Zayn said with a creul smile "You read my mind"
