The Devil In Disguise (Marcel/Harry Fanfic)

My eyes widened and it felt like I was suffocating, everything else the policemen was saying seemed to go over my head, before he could stop me, I pushed him back and ran into the house.

I heard some police yell after me, I didn’t stop in till I ran ups stairs, Linda’s wooden staircase creeking as I made my way up it, I burst into Linda's bedroom, pushing past the tape the policeman had put around the crime scene and let out a horrified scream at what I saw.

Linda was lying there, on the bed, petals of a rose where scattered all around her, I felt sick.

She didn’t look afraid but shocked, her eyes were wide and staring into nothing, a gaping wound in her chest…there was so much blood…so much of it.

I looked for any small whole wounds on her body but I found none.

I relised something was lying next to her body…a stake. It must of baffled the police I thought grimly.

I could hear the police coming upstairs as I picked up the stake, looking at the blood all over the stake, I put it near Linda’s chest, relising that the stake’s point was exactly the same width as the whole in Linda’s chest.

Bile rose in my throat as an image of what had happened played in my mind.

That was the stake I’d given Linda..she must of used it to defend herself…

Then the stake must have been wretched from her hands and her murderer used it by shoving it into her chest aggressively…with a lot of force as blood covered all of the stake…

It must have gone all the way through…
