“I know who you are”

“Do you?”

“Vampire…”

“Huh, nothing gets past you does it?”

She slowly picked up a stake that was strapped on to her belt, a stake Ruby had given her.

He raised his eyebrows skeptically at what she was holding.

“Try it, see what happens”

“One dead vampire?”

His image suddenly flickered and changed, she gasped and stepped backwards.

“Or” He sneered “One dead Seer”

I woke up, breathing hard and gasping, what was that?

Without me thinking about it my hand went to my mobile on my table and I called Linda’s phone.

Linda told me slayer dreams usually meant something and I should listen to my instincts and right now they were telling me I should be very worried about Linda.

The dream had made me deeply worried for Linda even thought I didn’t know why, I couldn’t help it.

Please pick up, Please pick up!

She didn’t pick up.

I got dressed rather quickly and rushed out of my house, looking in my living room before hand to see my dad scrubbing something of the walls, looking irritated.

Without telling him where I was going and wishing he was still at work.

I rushed through are street, and down the alleyway at the end of my street, Linda’s house was just a couple of doors to the left opposite the exit to the Allyway.

I rushed out of the Allyway.

My eyes widened at what I saw…Police cars where at the house.

I ran like I’ve never ran before.

“Miss, I don’t think thats a good idea” A police man stood in my way from entering the house.

Another policeman came from Linda’s house “Are you family to Linda-“

“Yes” I lied, knowing he would probably turn me away if he knew I wasn’t.

The policeman’s face was solem as he said “I’m sorry but she has passed away in the-“

I interrupted shakily “You don’t mean passed away do you? She wasn’t that old!”

The policeman looked uncomfortable as he said “She uh, was found in her bedroom with a stab wound then went straight her heart…"
