June 1st, 2014: Graduation Day

Alyssa's Point of View

"More curls dammit! Don't give up now!" Perrie yelled to Eleanor as my hair was tugged around. I giggled just waiting for Harry to text me soon. I hope he's up, graduation is only a few hours away. Marilyn had also been texting me. She's a little pissed I'm moving to London but she understands. She also decided on UCLA to be with her new boyfriend Edward who is actually really hot from the pictures she's shown me. I'm sure we'll meet up this summer but for now I'm focused on getting through today.

I sat patiently in a chair in front of my parents bathroom mirror as the three of us got ready. Since there bathroom is like the size of my room it felt right to be using their luxury sinks and wall size mirrors. Who needs that?

It's just graduation, I keep telling myself. No reason to be nervous though my sweaty palms and the twitch in my knee is trying to tell me otherwise. I suppose I should try focusing on something else; like the way Perrie is freaking about what shade of lipstick she should wear or how Eleanor is only focused on the party tonight. I guess this is possibly the biggest celebration of my lifetime so I should smile. I'm done with high school and I'm moving to London for at least four years. Maybe longer if Harry and I stay together--which we will.

From: Harry :) 9:57 am
see you soon?

I smiled at those three words. He probably could have sent a period and I would've smiled like an idiot.

To: Harry :) 9:58 am
of course!

I giggled to myself while El sprayed my hair with some sort of fruity shit that will probably hold my hair together for longer than I'd like. I tried to laugh and join in on their fun but I'm nervous. I'm excited and nervous all at the same time which makes me quiet; oh so quiet.

"Come on Lys! Cheer up!" I've gotten used to most people calling me Lys so it doesn't make me cringe as much but it's still not my favorite nickname.

"I'm cheered!" I stood and zipped the rest of Perrie's white, silked dress which hit right above the knee, "I'm just a little nervous."

"We're going to miss you so much Lys, I can't believe you're going to London!"

My blush over powered the blush Eleanor was smearing on my face as I tried to contain my smile. I can't wait to be out of this not so hell-hole anymore, but still, I've wanted this for so long. And Harry, I'll be with my best friend, my boyfriend, and the one who has saved me from this crazy world.

"It's going to be so weird, you guys will have to visit me!"

"Are you girls ready? Oh my!" my mom walked into her bathroom and smiled at the three of us. I think she may be more excited than me on graduation. Maybe it's because I'll be moving out, or maybe it's just because her next and last daughter is graduating.

"You girls look beautiful!"

"Thanks mom," I smiled as she took me in for a big hug. We've never been touchy-feely but I've grown to appreciate it over the past few months.

I stood against my locker with Perrie and Eleanor with their boyfriends, Louis and Zayn as we waited for the rest of the guys to show up. I haven't seen Harry yet but I love seeing him in a suit. I'm sure he'll be just as stunning today. The only people I want to avoid are Amber and her pet sluts which I've succeeded in so far. My snide comments made myself laugh as I tugged my laced dress down before putting my gown over my shoulders. This is becoming so real.

The halls are much emptier now; it's just the seniors wandering around reminiscing and checking out the classroom that they'll never have to see again. I prefer just waiting since reminiscing just brings back bad memories.

I squealed as someone came behind me and squeezed my waist.

"Harry!" I laughed, turning around to see his face.

"I missed you handsome," I held myself back from messing with his hair since it looked like Niall's mom actually spent some time on it.

"I missed you too!"

"No PDA!" Mr. Sauter yelled as Harry kissed my nose. We both laughed and rolled our eyes.

"That'll be the last time we hear that," Harry laughed, pulling me in closer once Mr. Sauter walked away.

I rested my hands on his chest and we took in each others presence. The rest of the world seems nonexistent at this moment and I wish life could be like this always. Harry holding me in his arms, staring into my eyes like I'm the only girl in the room.

"You look beautiful," he twirled one of my long curls in his hand and rested it back in front of my shoulder.

"Eleanor and Perrie had fun messing with my hair and make-up. I think they think I'm a life-size barbie."

"No, you're much more beautiful than any barbie," the smile that took over my face made my stomach swarm of beautiful butterflies. He will never get old, his comments will never ever die down.

The loud speaker came on just as Harry slowly pushed me against my locker and kissed me like no one was watching; and I'm sure everyone was.

"All seniors, please report to your homeroom in order to head to the auditorium. I repeat..."

"I'll see you out there?" I nodded my head as we took a few more kisses before the loud speaker went off. Our homerooms were in different directions but we lingered as long as we could, holding hands until the tips of our fingers brushed before walking away. Harry blew me a kiss and I caught it above my head, placing it in my cap for after graduation.

"We're done!" Perrie exclaimed as Zayn poured us all a shot.

"To growing up!" Niall yelled, "and drinking lots of alcohol!"

Laughter consumed Eleanor's large kitchen as we downed the first shot of the night. Her house is big but definitely not as big as mine. Not that I'm bragging because I much rather be in my same old two story house with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Those were the days. Though I guess I would have never met Harry.

"Watcha thinkin'?" Harry asked curiously. I didn't realize I had been sitting alone in the kitchen staring at a speck of coffee that had probably been sitting there since this morning.

"Oh, I'm just thinking about the next couple of weeks. I'll miss you," Harry lifted me up and sat in my chair before putting me on his lap.

"And what else?"

"I'm thinking about how I'm excited to meet your 'mum'," I said using his cute accent, "and your sister. Oh, and how can I forget your friend Ed?"

"Well they're very excited to meet you as well. My mum has been going on about meeting you," I looked back at the coffee spot and sighed, "what?"

"My parents, they're going to meet your mum too."

"Yeah, that'll be awkward," he chuckled a bit before playing with a few curls that had escaped the braid I made after graduation was over.

"We're staying at your house Harry! That's not okay!"

He laughed while my face turned beat red. How the hell am I supposed to be under the same roof as my mom and dad, the twins, Luke, and Harry's family? We haven't even met them yet and they're going to think we're crazy. And there's no way his house is that big. My house wouldn't even be big enough to fit another family for a week. Actually, it probably could. It's still ridiculous nonetheless.

"I'm excited. This means they think we're serious."

"We are serious, aren't we?"

Harry rolled his eyes just the way I always do as if that was a stupid question. I giggled and rested my lips gently on his. His taste is so perfect even when it tastes of vodka and beer.

"Maybe we should get back to everyone else yeah?"

"Mhmm," I stood up and intertwined my fingers with Harry as we headed into the living space. Another massive room with three couches and a 68" television.

We all decided on playing a few drinking games as well as beer pong and then like the geeks we are, watched a movie. I love this party more than any other we could have attended. Yes, we're drunk, but we're with people we care about and we don't have to be stupid while having fun. Well, I guess Niall can be pretty stupid but it's a good stupid.

I nuzzled into Harry's side as his arm wrapped around me. I played with his cross necklace which dangled from his neck and I'm pretty sure I heard a few snores. He's definitely out. I'm close but the giggles Perrie and Zayn are sharing seem to echo throughout the room. Living with Niall can't be easy; I'm sure he doesn't get much sleep there.

Eventually I felt myself dozing off as the credits played for The Hangover II as well as everyone else in the room. We were supposed to watch two more movies and stay up all night as our graduation present to each other but we couldn't keep our eyes open. This year has been crazy and just dreaming about what is waiting for us is enough for me to sleep on.

Harry's Point of View

"They'll be here soon mum!" I rushed around the house trying to finish up a few more areas that should be clean. Our house really isn't big enough for six more people but it'll have to do. Luke will be staying in my room, Alyssa will be with Gemma, the twins are taking the couches in the living room, and her parents will be in the guest bedroom.

"I know Harry, everything will be okay!" she laughed while draining the angel hair pasta; Alyssa's favorite, "and stop cleaning, the house is starting to smell like Lysol!"

Gemma came down the stairs from unpacking her things. She decided this would be a good week to come home so she can meet Alyssa's family. Her laugh filled the kitchen as she took out a fork and set it by the sink followed by setting a cup on the table and then dropping a few napkins all over the counter tops all while giggling.

"Seriously Gem?"

"What? I'm just decorating," she laughed as my irritation grew. I almost forgot about all the little things she likes to do to get on my nerves; like untidy the kitchen right before Alyssa gets here.

"Clean that up! And please be nice to Alyssa, I know you'll love her but-"

"Chill baby bro, I'm sure I'll love her even more than you do," not possible, I thought to myself while smiling like a complete idiot.

She patted me on the head and put away the items she tried to infuriate me with. I looked at my mum who had no sympathy and-

"No, mum!" I ran to her and took the hot pot of spaghetti sauce and placed it back on the stove.

"What Harry? You can't scare me like that!"

"Alyssa doesn't eat meat mum, I'm sorry. I thought I told you," I pinched the skin between my eyebrows and sighed, "do you have any sauce that doesn't have meat?"

My mum pulled me in for a hug and it somehow calmed me down. I made sure everything was perfect; the house is clean, we're having one of Alyssa's favorite meals, and I feel pretty confident in my clothing choice of black jeans and a blue plaid shirt with a white tee underneath.

"I have the perfect touch Harry Styles, don't you worry," she kissed me on the cheek, leaving me with a nice red lipstick print for me to clean up. But first, the doorbell rang.

"Shit, mum! I don't know what to do!"

"Language! And answer the door, it's fine," I took a breath and ruffled up my hair a bit until I heard a too familiar voice answer the door. Gemma, I mumbled, holding the back of my neck.

I crept around the corner and saw the twins walk in first wearing skimpy floral skirts and tube tops not covering enough skin. I rolled my eyes, remembering the first time I saw the twins with the fake act they're now pulling with Gemma.

Luke walked in next looking more than high which really doesn't make sense since he's been on a plane but I'm sure no one will pay attention to him after seeing tweedle dee and tweedle dumb as Alyssa calls them.

Jack and Lily followed, god damn where the hell is Alyssa?

Mum came behind me and pushed me along to greet everyone. I hadn't realized I'd been peeking around the corner watching my sister deal with the craziness. She welcomed them in and I said hi to everyone before walking outside to find Alyssa. Thankfully Megan had the decency to tell me I still had lipstick all over my face which I happily rubbed off before searching for the love of my life.

I stepped outside and found Alyssa looking all around next to five huge suitcases. Her mouth was open and I'm guessing that's how most of the ride was, wide open and in awe.

"Like the view?" she turned around with a huge smile and jumped into my arms.

"It's so beautiful!"

"It's about to rain," I chuckled against her soft skin.

"And it'll be a beautiful rain," we let go of our moment and had a sweet kiss before tugging at the luggage to set in the front of the house. It was already loud inside and I can tell it's going to be a rough week but fun nonetheless.

We walked into the kitchen where everyone was getting acquainted. Rob and Jack seemed to be hitting it off really well along with Lily and my mum. Gemma was being bombarded with questions from the twins and I could see the fake smile I forced Gemma to give them.

"Come on," I took Alyssa's hand and found my mum to introduce them.

"Alyssa! It's so nice to finally meet you!"

Alyssa took my mum's hand shyly and I noticed she wasn't wearing one bracelet. I know she hasn't been cutting but it isn't until now that I've noticed that she hasn't been wearing any.

They began a small conversation, mainly about how excited my mum is to have them here and how much she's heard. Even though it's pretty embarrassing I'm glad that Alyssa knows how much I really love her.

"I can't get him to stop talking about you! It's Alyssa this and Alyssa that!" Alyssa blushed and giggled along with Lily. I really hope they don't fill them in on the whole sex thing but I'm pretty sure my mum could get that on her own.

I saw Luke sitting on the counter typing away on his phone but he seems content. He's like Alyssa in that way, always content with his surroundings.

"So, shall we eat?" Gemma said loudly!

Alyssa's Point of View

Dinner was nice as well as getting to know Anne and Gemma. They're both just as great as Harry has told me and Rob is also very kind. I'm so happy I'll get to be near his family for so long and I feel like I'll be able to talk to Anne about anything and everything once we get to that point. Gemma is also the perfect sister. I can see us being good friends considering she's exactly like Harry except a bit more of a smart ass.

"And this is my room," Harry tugged me into his small room. His full size bed was pressed against the wall with a green comforter and his walls were a dark blue. He had a picture of us on his night stand and that same journal I always see him carrying around. I've never bothered to ask him about it because I know of all the many journals I wouldn't want people snooping through.

His walls were bare and he only had a small window looking to the backyard, which is actually quite lovely. There's a small pool and what looks like a cabin a little further back. I'm definitely planning on exploring back there.

"I absolutely love your house," I sprawled out on Harry's bed and released my braid. I don't know why but I've enjoyed a nice braid very much recently. His house is just so cozy. It's only a two story but it's so old. It has the smell of lilac which seems so cliche but it's a different kind of lilac, like an ancient smell. His living room isn't too big with an actual fireplace, not one of those electric ones. The dining room is also tiny, only made for maybe six people max and his kitchen is actually probably one of the bigger rooms on the first floor. I can see why Harry loves to cook so much.

"My mum said when she retires and moves to Paris I can have it," he sat next to me with his dimpled grin, "maybe we can live here."

I tried to hide the smile as I bit my bottom lip but it couldn't be contained.

"I'd like that very much so."

Harry laid back and pulled me on top of him. I laid my head on his chest and listened to his rapid heartbeat. It makes me so happy that I still play this wonderful affect on him. I can always make his heartbeat faster than any beat I've ever come across. I can only wonder what mine is like while I'm with him but I'm sure it's just as fast if not faster.

Even though we were supposed to be downstairs enjoying the company of everyone else we fell asleep together in his extremely comfortable bed. His house may be old but this furniture is definitely made in the twenty-first century.

"I love you Alyssa," a kiss was placed on my forehead as I pushed my body as close as I could to Harry's body.

"I love you too Harry. I love you so much."

Notes

And that's the final chapter! There will be an epilogue soon and/or a sequel. I know a lot of people want one so there is an actual possibility. I have an idea of what I want the plot to be but I want to make it good so it may take a few days (maybe a week) before I post the sequel....if I have one! I will keep you updated on that and definitely stick around for the epilogue!

So how did you like it and what did you think of the story as a whole?
I'd love to have a discussion about it because I worked really hard on this!
Love you all <3
