Hanging By A Moment

Samantha's POV:
'Why didn't you shoot me?'I asked Harry as he dropped his gun.

'Well why didn't you shoot me?' he asked as I placed my gun down.

'I think Louis would have had more satisfactory if he shot you for himself' I chuckled and he walked over to seat next to me.

'Why didn't you shoot me?' I asked again.

'Are you kidding? Then I wouldn't have anyone to talk to' he replied and I let out a small laugh.

'You shot my girlfriend!' I heard Louis yelled. Harry and I turned our heads when we heard his voice. 'Oh yeah, you shot poor Niall' Zayn called out.

'Promise I won't shoot you' Harry told me.

'I promise as well' I told him.

'So what have you got planned for the rest of the weeks?' he started a conversation.

'Harry, don't worry were not going anywhere. And yes we can all do something together' I replied knowing this was the response he was hoping to get.

'Thanks' he nodded his head.

'So Jacob is older right? By how long?' he asked

'1 min and 48 seconds' I flashed him a smile.

'1:48' he let out a small laugh. It was our special time. We've had so many special memories during that time and coincidentally the twins were 1:48 minutes apart.

Suddenly, Harry's gear started making a weird noise and then the lights on his vest blinked off. 'Oooo samantha fraternising with the enemy huh?' Louis came in to our space with a grin.

'Louis that was cruel' Harry told him. 'Out you go Harold' Louis told him before taking off.

All of a sudden, my gear made the same noise as Harry's and I realised someone had shot me. 'Love birds, this is not a picnic' Zayn told us, then quickly bolted out.

Harry and I walked out of the arena together.

After laser tags the group decided to separate ways. Louis and Liam went to go find the highest ride possible while El and Dani went to go on the bumper cars. 'Will take the children to the cafe' Perrie offered. 'You guys go enjoy the ride' Zayn told Harry and I. 'Let's go' Perrie held Taleiah's hand and began to walk off. 'Alright buddy, let's go get some corn dogs...pretzels and beignets, they're these little biscuit shaped liked Mickey Mouse, you know the guy with the big ears? or do you want Mickey Mouse pancakes...'I heard Niall trail off as he walked next to Jacob.

I let out a small laugh as he tried to communicate with a one year old about food options.

'Niall' Harry let out a laugh as well. 'At least will know the kids will never go hungry when their with him' Harry suggested and I agreed.

'So how about the roller coaster?' he pointed at the ride called California screamin'.

'Oh no' I muttered but he pulled me towards it anyway.

He led me towards the front of the carriage, which was the worst part of! 'Ahhh Harry, why the front!' I started to panic. 'The fronts the best!' he exclaimed. The ride was full of squealing teenage girls that sounded like they were about to give birth. Trust me, I knew what exactly how that sounded- remember I went through it.

Harry's POV:
'Looks like you enjoyed that in comparison to our 1st rollercoaster ride in Barbados 'I turned to Sammie who was laughing out loud. 'The-the' she stuttered to get a word out in between her laughs. 'Those girls were....screaming' she laughed. 'I know right, the ride wasn't even that much of a thrill' I stated.

'No, they were screaming cause you were there' she laughed.

'Really?' I let out a small laugh.

'Yeah' she nodded.

'Hey wanna go on a paddle boat? ' I pointed at lake. 'Sure' she nodded and we made our way to the ride. We took our place one of the swan boat and the attendee gave the boat a push to get us moving. We began pedalling simultaneously around the lake.

There were a lot of other boats out on the lake. So I steered the boat cautiously to avoid any collision...and maybe more than just a physical collision.

'HARRYYYYYY!' they screamed. A boat with two girls swiftly pedalled towards us .

'Hello' I waved and I could hear Sammie giggling quietly next to me. 'Oh my gosh, oh my gosh!' they squealed starstruckk and began stomping their feet on the boat that it began to rock.

'Umm...you shouldn't.. Err probably do that' I tried to warn them about their boat capsizing. 'I love you Harry' one of the girl called out. 'Thank you' I smiled back and began to pedal away. I didn't wanna say I love you back as it might send them into a frenzy attack which may ultimately caused their boat to capsized.....And also because there was only one girl in this lake that I wanted to say those three words to.

I steered the boat towards an empty area of the lake. There was something I wanted to discussed and I needed there not to be any distractions.

'Umm Sammie...' I began.

'Yeah?' she replied as she kept pedalling.

'Can you stop pedalling for a minute?' I asked her and the boat became still with minimal movement caused by the flow of the water.

'We've been able to reach an understanding when it came to the children...' I began. 'You've allowed me to be a part of their life....' I continued.

'Yeah...'she turned to face me.

'But how about your life?' I asked nervously.

'How about US?' I anxiously looked into her hazel eyes and waited for a respond.

Harry and Samantha have finally come to an understanding about their children's life. But is it enough to keep them both happy?
