Hanging By A Moment

Zayn's POV:
Perrie and I were at the bachelor pad having breakfast with the boys.

DING! DONG! The doorbell rang.

'I'll get it' Harry literally ran out of the room.

'Is he expecting someone?' I asked. Harry seemed disappointed when he opened the door for us. 'Dunno' they all shrugged.

'Hey' Dani and El greeted as they came in the kitchen. 'Hey' we all replied as they took a seat. 'Is Harry expecting someone?' El asked. 'Dunno' we all shrugged again. 'He seemed pretty disappointed when it was us at the door' Dani told us. 'Same with us' Perrie told her. Harry came back to join us in the kitchen. 'So Harold, I heard the police are looking for you' Louis joked. We all laughed knowing what happened yesterday. 'Heard you're being charged for kidnapping' I added.

DING! DONG!

'Whatever guys' Harry laughed and went to get the door.

Harry's POV:
I uttered a sighed as I reached out for the door knob.I've waited all morning but maybe I shouldn't have had my hopes up. I kept my head down and wore a slight frown as I opened the door preparing for another disappointment.

My eyes widened as they met Taleiah and Jacob who were standing and fiddling with their toys. 'Hey' Sammie greeted as she kept her hands on the twins shoulder. I looked up to meet her gaze. 'Thank you' I smiled at her and she nodded back. 'Taleiah, Jacob' she leaned down to talk to them. 'Your gonna stay here for a while, okay. Mummy will be back tomorrow' she told them while they continued to fiddle with their toys. Tomorrow? She was giving me two days with them! 'Here's their things' she stood back up and handed me a duffle back. 'Is it alright to pick them up tomorrow?' she asked. 'Yeah sure' I nodded and smiled back. 'Okay, well I better go' she said. She leaned back down to the children and embraced them.

'I love you' she told them. We made eye contact as she said the those three words. She pulled away and started to descend down the steps. 'Mummy, mummy' Taleiah called out to her. Sammie turned around when she heard her call. 'It's okay Taleiah, I'm here' I carried her. Sammie continued her way back to the car when Taleiah stopped calling after her.

Zayn's POV:
'What's taking Harry so long?' Niall asked. 'Maybe the police came for him' Liam suggested and we all laughed.

'Hi everyone' Harry came in the room with a surprise. We all gasped at who he came in with. 'Jacob, Taleiah' we all walked up to them.'Why are they here?'Perrie asked as she played with Taleiah's hand. 'Is Sammie here?' Liam asked. 'Actually no' Harry took us by surprise. Sammie, left the twins with Harry? She never mentioned it to me, or better yet I never thought she would have allowed it.

'She's picking them up tomorrow....I get to spend two days with them' Harry explained. We all flashed him a genuine smile.

'I'm actually taking them out now, do you guys wanna come?' he asked. We all exchanged a glance and from the looks of it we were all thinking the same thing.

'Naahh' we all smiled.

'This is your day with your children' Liam said.

'Yeah, we wanna give you some alone time' Dani smiled.

'It'll be a good daddy and children bonding time' Niall sounding enthusiastic.

'Oh okay' Harry smiled back.

Harry's POV:
I was expecting the group to come out with us, but again I understood why they didn't want to. They were just trying to give me some alone time with the twins. But I needed at least one person with me. 'Thanks for coming' I smiled at her as I drove. 'That's okay, but why me?' Perrie asked. 'Well, your pretty close with the twins, you know them better than I do' I replied. 'But so does Zayn..'she said. 'Yeah.... but, your a girl. You have better instinct when it comes to children, you know' I explained.

'I'm sorry about the phone call-' she began to apologise. 'Love it's alright' I flashed her a smile. 'Zayn explained to me what happened' she continued. 'And I've explained it to Sammie as well' I informedd her. 'Ohh...what did she say' she asked. 'She said it doesn't change anything. I don't think she wants me back' I replied. 'Harry, that's not true' she tried to boost my self esteem. 'I think it'll just take her a while to trust you again' she said. 'Give her some time' Perrie flashed a genuine smile.

'So where we going?' she changed the conversation. 'There' I pointed at the aquarium. 'Yay!' she cheered like a little girl. Perrie was an animal lover, so this was a win win situation for all of us.

We got out of the car and Perrie carried Taleiah while I carried Jacob. We proceeded inside and explored the marine life. 'Ooh look sweetie, fishy' Perrie pointed at the rainbow fishes. I placed Jacob on the ground and he placed his tiny hands on the fish tank. 'That's a turtle buddy' I bended down to talk to him. He giggled as a family of turtles played follow the leader.

'Pehwie, pehwie' I heard Taleiah called out. I envied Perrie because my own daughter could say her name but not mine. I stood up and heard Taleiah giggling as she watched the creatures. 'Can you say Harry sweetie?' she asked. I listened in hoping to hear the name come out of her mouth. 'Ha-rry' Perrie tried to teach her my name but Taleiah didn't respond. 'How about Daddy?' she looked at Taleiah. Wow, I wonder what it feels like to be call a dad....by your own child? But unfortunately, Taleiah remained silent.

'Don't worry will get there' Perrie flashed me a lip smile.

Zayn's POV:
'Hey Babe' I stood up from the bed as Perrie entered the room, with eyes half open. 'Long day?' I asked as she walked to hugged me, then pushed me down with her as we stayed hugging. 'I'm exhausted' she groaned as she laid half on top of me. 'Where'd you go?' I asked as I rubbed her back. 'Everywhere...the Aquarium, Oxford st, the Zoo, London's Eye, the beach...' she blabbed on. 'Looks like you need rest' I placed a kiss on her forehead and slipped away from her grip. I got out of bed and saw how exhausted she looked. I pulled the cover over her shoulders and said goodnight.

I went into Harry's room and found the twins on his bed laying down and drinking their milks. 'Hey man' Harry greeted as he came out of the bathroom. 'Dammnn Harry, go easy on my wife will yah' I chuckled. 'You absolutely killed her, that I'm not even get laid tonight' I told him. 'Sorry bro' he laughed.

Harry's POV:
After Zayn left, I flopped myself into bed next to my two kids. I watched them with a smile as they laid peacefully in bed. I took their bottles from them when they'd finish drinking their milk. I turned the night lamp on pulled the duvet us three. I don't know how to make them sleep, so hopefully sooner they'll just fall asleep.

I began to crease my eyebrow as a noise crescendo from the room next door. I got up and knocked on Louis room. I invited myself in knowing he probably can't hear me or they were just ignoring me.

'Errh hello, there's children next door who can't sleep by your vigorous-love-making-noises' I said as I opened the door and found them shuffling around in bed.

'Errh hello' Louis mimicked me. 'There's a thing called knocking' Louis turned around to talk to me.

'Hey, I did knock' I informed him.

'Harold, just play them song nursery rhyme' Louis suggested. 'Your ruining my fun here' he motioned with his hand as if it wasn't obvious enough.

'What ever' I rolled my eyes and closed the door.

Zayn's POV:
'Do you think Harry needs any help?' Perrie asked as we all ate our breakfast in the lounge, while Harry was giving the twins a bath. 'Yeah, his been up there for a while' Dani suggested. 'Relax girls, if he needs help he would have called us by now' Louis continued to eat his cereal. 'His probably trying to make up for the 10 months his missed with his children' Liam spoke.

Momentarily, Harry and descended down the stairs with the twins by his side. 'Really Harry?' Louis raised his eyebrows. 'Are you trying to dress your children like you? Beanies and sunnies?' he pointed at the twins. They were wearing thishttp://www.polyvore.com/twins_outfit/set?id=80512571

'Jack Wills' Niall chuckled.

'What? Would you rather them in suspenders and no socks? Harry pointed out Louis' fashion styles.

'Sammie's not gonna be please to see two mini Harry's roaming around London' Louis sang.

'Come on, they look cute' Harry argued back.

'Perrie?' he turned to her for support.

'Of course they do! You did a great job' Perrie gave him two thumbs up but the lads and I just laughed.

'Shut up guys' Perrie mumbled to us. 'His trying to be a dad. Let's just support him' she whispered.
