Samantha's POV:
The next day, I woked up in my room, at my parents house. They've just arrived from Australia last night and we'd managed to do some 'talking'. Well mainly because it's too hard to lie to my parents and pretend everything was okay...especially after yesterday. 'Morning' I heard another familiar voice who I haven't heard in a while. 'Hey, your back as well' I smiled at Anna. She walked towards the bed and we hugged. 'Just this morning' she said. 'So......your Mum explained what happened...'Anna stroked my hair. 'I'm okay' I assured her. 'Where are the twins?' I changed the topic. 'In Allanah's room' she answered. We both got up and went to see them.



Allanah's door was open as the twins and her sat on the floor and watched music videos....and I don't know if it was a coincident that it happened to be a One direction's music video. 'Look Taleiah it's uncle Zayn, his your Godparent' Allanah got up and pointed at Zayn on the TV. 'Zany' Taleiah giggled. Anna and I let out a small laugh at her pronunciation. 'And this one is Harry' Allanah pointed. I saw Anna shot me a quick glance.


'Can you say Harry?' Allanah asked Taleiah. 'Haaa-rry, Harry' she tried to teach her. 'Say Ha-' she said slowly. 'Allanah' I interrupted her. 'Oh hey Sammie' she greeted. 'Allanah, I think your breakfast is ready' Anna interrupted her. Allanah got up and left the room and Anna followed her. I walked over to the twins and sat with them on the floor. 'Morning pumpkins' I placed a kiss on their forehead. 'It's okay, we're going to be okay' I told them as they played with their toys.



'Umm Sammie' I turned around when I heard Anna's voice. I couldn't seem to understand the expression she wore on her face. 'Someone's here' she informed me. I got up and carried Taleiah while tugging Jacob's hand. Anna led the way down stairs and as we neared the lounge a familiar voice became apparent. I stopped my tracks, close enough to hear the conversation.



'Look Anne, I really did keep an open mind about letting your son still be part of my family' I heard Mum spoke in a calm tone. 'But Harry has moved on..... He's proposed to Cara...' she forced the word's out.

'What-' Anne mumbled.

'I think we should all just move on as well' Mum told her.

'No, no, I know my son, he wouldn't have done that' I heard Anne's voice crack up as she started to cry. 'Stay here' I told Anna as I passed Taleiah to her. She took her from me and held Jacob by her side.




'Sammie' Mum spoke as she saw me enter the lounge. I walked up to her side and she placed her arms on my shoulder. 'Sammie' Anne greeted me with teary eyes. 'Hi, Anne' I flashed her a small smile. 'Aww sweetie' she came closer and took me in for a hug. My hands remained stationary by my side nervous to embrace her.




I took a deep breath before lifting them up to rub her back. 'Sweetie' she pulled away and wiped her teary eyes. 'Can I please see the children?' she asked with her eyes full of desperation. I bowed my head down and closed my eyes for an instance. 'Sammie please, I want to meet my grandchildren' Anne softly pleaded. Even thought Harry and I weren't together, I felt like it was only right for his side of the family to meet the children. I knew it was the right thing....but I was scared to do the right thing. It scared me to let the twins get to know them and be involved in their life. I turned to Mum and she nodded her head. I took a deep breath before departing the room.



I entered the room carrying Taleiah and Anna holding Jacob's hand. 'Oohh' Anne gasped with a smile across her face. 'Taleiah, Jacob....this is your grandma Anne' I told the twins. Anne slowly advanced towards us with tears slowly trickling down her cheek. 'Hello' she rubbed Taleiah's back. 'Their beautiful' she then bended down to Jacob. 'Can I carry him?' she asked. 'Sure' I nodded. She lifted Jacob off the ground, who didn't resist being carried. 'Your gorgeous' she swayed Jacob side to side. Anne had the same smile on her face, the first time Mum held Jacob in her arms. The smile of a proud, loving, grandmother.



'We're having a family lunch tomorrow, at our place' Anne told us. 'And we would really love for your whole family to be there' she flashed us a smile. Mum and I exchanged a look of uncertainty.

'Umm...I don't know Anne' I mumbled.

'Please Sammie' she pleaded.





'I can't promise you anything' I replied.

Harry's POV:
'Ohh it's you...' Gemma greeted in disappointment as she opened the door.

'Oh WOW! Gee, thanks Gem' I smiled. 'I wouldn't have minded a little more enthusiasm. Like welcome home little brother, I've missed seeing your curly hair and dimples' I suggested as I entered the house.

'Aheem- I'm choking on sarcasm' she fake coughed.

'Whaaaaaaat.......eveeeeer' I sang out.

'Anyway, What are yooou wearing' she uttered in disgust.

'What? It's just lunch with the family. Everyone's use to seeing me like this' I said as I made my way in the kitchen.

'You know Nan, Pop-Oh shi' I stopped by the sliding door when I realised there were guest outside that I was not expecting.

'Gem?... Gem?....Gemma?' I muttered as I kept my eyes fixed outside.


'Gemma!?!' I shouted.

'What!?' she rushed over to my side.

'Wha-?' I pointed out the window, speechless.

'Mum invited them' she explained.

'Huh, what?' I mumbled.

'Oh Harry, your here' I turned around to see Mum. 'Oh honey, what are you wearing. Go and get changed we have visitors' she told me. 'Mum, you could have at least notified me' I replied. 'Well, I didn't think they would show up. But now that they have, we have to make sure that we show them that we still want to be a part of their family' she smiled. 'Sure' I nodded and went upstairs to get changed.



After I had gotten change to something my mum would considered 'clean and decent', I went outside to join everyone else. I took a deep breath and slowly approached the family who probably hated me with all their being.

'Hi everyone' I smiled nervously. Mum and Robin sat opposite to Sammie's parents and our grandparents sat next to each other. 'Harry' they all replied politely. 'Hi Allanah' I went to take a seat next to her. 'Hi Harry' she waved at me. 'Oh when is Sammie and the children getting here' Nan asked full of excitement. 'Umm Mum, she said she's not sure if she can make it' Mum replied. Like Nan, I was also disappointment to hear Mum's respond. But I guess it was still nice to have both our family gathered like this. 'Everyone guess who's here' we heard Gemma's voice. We all turned towards the house.










Out from the doors came Sammie with the Jacob and Taleiah.

I made a new cover image for this story! Which I should have put up at the beginning of Part II to mark the 2nd half of the story. But then I realised it actually makes sense to have made the change now... as it very much reflects the current story line (read the script on the image)
