Hanging By A Moment

Samantha's POV:
I walked back to the couch where Harry had Taleiah on his lap and Jacob playing next to him. 'Your such a cute baby' Harry lifted Taleiah up on the air and she would giggle. 'Ah-nom-nom-nom' he made the noise cookie monster made as he pretended to bite Taleiah on the neck. I joined Taleiah on her giggle as I watched Harry play with her. I carried Jacob to my lap wanting someone to hold as well. 'So what cartoon shows do they watch?' Harry asked. 'Umm they watch a variety but they love Teletubbies' I replied. He took the remote from the table and started to flick through the channels.

'Oh look it's on' Harry called out when he landed on a channel. Of course it would be showing, it's a British BBC show and after all we are in London. 'Look Jacob' I pointed at the tv. 'Tel-tabees' he pronounced and clapped his hands. A song started to play and the teletubbies were doing their stupid dance moves. Taleiah and Jacob both ran to the tv and danced along.

'Say Eh-Oh' the teletubbies said in their different pitch voices. 'EH-OH' the twins would repeat. 'I really think the purple one is gay' Harry chuckled. 'I agree' I laughed with him. 'And the green one is just really stubborn'he added. 'Taleiah likes the yellow one' I told him. 'The red one is cute, people say she's Cantonese' he said. 'Wow, you know more than I do' I chuckled. 'Hey, it's a BBC show' he defend himself. 'La-la' I heard Taleiah say. 'Mummy' she called out and I looked over to her. 'La-la' she pointed at the screen. 'Yes honey that's la-la' I smiled at her. 'To be honest, I find the teletubbies creepy' Harry chuckled. 'I know! I don't know how children are attracted to them' I replied. 'I mean where's their hair' Harry creased his eyebrows. 'Well, I'm sorry we all can't have great curls like you' I rolled my eyes and giggled. 'Hey, I never said anything about my hair' he laughed. Jacob walked back to me for an unknown reason. 'What's wrong honey?' I asked him. I leaned down and pulled my head away from the smell. 'All rigggght, we need to change your diaper' I got up and lifted him up. 'Mummy' Taleiah called out to me. 'Sweetie, Mummy's gonna be back' I told her and started to leave. 'Muummy' she started to cry. I walked up to her and she extended her arms up. 'Sweetie I can't carry you' I told her as I already had Jacob in one of my arms.

'It's okay I'll do it' Harry walked over to us and carried Taleiah. Momentarily, she stopped crying. I went upstairs and Harry followed with Taleiah. I went into the bathroom and removed Jacob's nappy and wiped the mess. 'Harry' I called out to him from the bathroom. 'Yeah' he came in holding Taleiah's hand. 'Do you mind, if the twins take a bath in your bath tub?' I asked. 'Yeah no worries' he replied. I went over to the tub and began to fill it with water. 'Do you need help?' I heard him ask. 'Um can you just mind the kids, I just need to get their things from the bag' I told him. 'Sure' he nodded.

I returned back to the bathroom with the kid's toiletry bag. I poured some bubble bath on the tub and made sure the water was at the right temperature. The twins giggled as they dipped their hands in the tub and played with the bubbles. 'Alright pumpkins time for a bath' I said. I began taking Taleiah's clothes off and realised that Harry was helping out and preparing Jacob as well. We then placed both the twins in the tub and they splashed around. I got their toys out of the bag and placed them in the tub. Harry and I sat on the ground and watched the twins play in the water and talk baby language.

'Do you ever wonder what their talking about?' Harry asked very keen to know for himself. 'I wonder that every day' I chuckled. We dipped our hands in and began playing with water.' Hey it's pingu' Harry got up and tried to reach for the floating penguin. He extended his arm across the tub and tried to catch the toy. 'Wo-oh, oh shi-' I looked up and saw him trying to keep his balance.

SPLASH!

'AHHHHAHAHHAAHAHA' I cried in laughter when he fell in the tub.

'HAHAHHAHA'



'Hey!' Immediately I stood up when I felt water sprinkled on me. 'Harry' I groaned as he wet me with the flexi spray(like a hose). 'Look's like YOU have to join us now' he smirked as he sat inside the bath. 'I'm gonna get you back' I squinted my eyes. I sighed in defeat as I sat inside the tub with my legs dangling out like Harry's. The twins continued to splash and giggled in the middle of us. I took the shampoo from the side of the tub and began to wash Taleiah's hair. I rubbed it all around her hair while her and Jacob were engaged in their 'conversation'. I really wonder if they understood each other? 'Umm can I have some shampoo?' I heard Harry ask. 'I don't think this is compatible for your hair' I giggled and he laughed as well. 'No, I was going to wash Jacob's hair' he smiled. 'Oh' I uttered in surprise. 'Sure, here you go' I handed him the bottle. I took the flexi spray from the tub and began to rinse Taleiah's hair.

'Hey' I heard Harry chuckle. 'He moves around a lot every time I try to wash his hair' I explained as Jacob kept moving his head around. 'I think he wants to wash my hair instead' Harry laughed at Jacob's actions. 'Sweetie, don't put bubbles on Harry's hair' I giggled as Jacob cupped some foam in his hands. When I was done rinsing Taleiah's hair I shuffled closer to Jacob and began washing his hair. He would giggle every time so I had to be careful not to get it in his mouth. 'Look buddy your all done now' Harry said to him after all the soap was finally rinsed out. 'Alright Sammie, I think his done' he said as I continued to use the spray.... but this time it was on him. 'Sammie...'he said in a husky voice as I sprayed water all over his head. 'Give me that' he tried to take the spray of me. 'Nah-ah' I flinched it away.

'Ha-ha-rry' I giggled as he began to tickle me. 'We're ....in ....a tub' I said in between my giggles. 'Sto-stop' I laughed. 'Ha! Got it' he claimed and I realised he had gotten the spray. 'What ever' I laughed.

'Oh whyyy hello' we heard a voice. We turned to see who it was and in came Perrie, Louis and Niall. 'Guys you know, if you wanted to swim there is a pool outside' Louis smirked and Harry sprayed water at him. 'Hey! Naughty Boy' Louis tried to act serious. 'Hey Sammie, look what I bought the twins' Niall showed me two pairs of onesies with a label on the front that read: Party at my crib 12am B.Y.O. 'Ohh Niall' I chuckled. 'Pretty cool hey' he said proudly. 'Okay, well I think their done' Perrie went to the tub and lifted Taleiah out, Louis came over and took Jacob out as well. 'Come on, lets dress them in these new clothes' Niall said excitedly and they all started to leave the room.

'Moral of the day, don't leave the children with Niall' Harry said and we both laughed. I heard water began to drip and saw him getting out of the tub. 'Up you get' he offered both his hand to me. I gladly took his offer and he lifted me up from the bath. 'Thanks' I smiled. There was silence between us, but it was a different silence from this morning. It was good silence. Silence like we felt comfortable with each other that we didn't even have to make conversations. We stood there face to face smiling. I wonder what's going through his mind?

Suddenly, his right hand reach out for my face and I felt my heart palpitate. He tucked the loose strand of hair behind my ear causing goose bumps to appear on my arms. His familiar touch sent tingles throughout my body like it was something I've never felt before...or maybe something I haven't felt in a long time.

'You can shower here, I'll use one of the lad's showers' he smiled with his famous dimples. 'Okay thanks' I replied. He turned around and quietly left the bathroom.
