Hanging By A Moment

9 months later

Harry's POV:
'Last week of tour lads' Louis said as we drove to Crown Casino Hotel in Melbourne, Australia. 'I can't believe 9 months is over' Liam spoke. 'It went pretty quick' I admitted.

RING! RING! We all took our phones out. 'It's mine' Zayn called out from behind the van. 'Hey babe, just driving to the hotel' he spoke. 'Ohh okay, well I won't be back in the UK till Sunday' I listened in to his conversation. 'Call me when you get to LA and once I get back home I'll try come down as soon as I can' Zayn said. 'Alright babe, love you too, bye' he ended the call. 'Was that Perrie?' I heard Niall ask.

'Yeah' Zayn replied. 'She's going to LA?' Liam who was seating next to me turned around to talk to Zayn. 'Yeah, she's really excited to become a Godmother' Zayn responded. Zayn had told me that Sammie had picked him and Perrie to be one of the Godparent for the baby, which I'm in favour of since Zayn is practically one of my brothers and I know Perrie would be a great Godparent as well. But then again, it's not like I have a say in any of this......since I disagreed for Sammie to keep the baby. 'She wants to be there when the baby comes out' he added. 'When is the baby due?' Louis asked. 'Umm supposed to be around next week sometime' Zayn replied. We got to the hotel and settle down before heading out for dinner. I went to my room which in between Louis and Zayn's and unpacked my things.

'Hey man' I heard Zayn's voice. I turned around and he was at the door. 'Hey' I replied while continuing to unpack. 'Look, I know the last 9 months hasn't been easy for you' he continued to talk while I unpacked. 'But maybe you should come down to LA with me, so you can be there when the baby comes out' I stopped what I was doing and turned to face him.

'I'm not sure Zayn, I haven't been there for her throughout the pregnancy' I spoke. 'Make it up to her then' he tried to convince me. 'It's not that easy man, I was the one that told her to get an abortion. She probably hates me' I replied. 'Harry if she hated you that much don't you think she would have gone to the press already and told them how you asked for an abortion' Zayn said. 'Still, I have no right to show up there and pretend that I care about the baby' I replied softly.

'Well do yah care?' he asked.

'As long as she's doing okay, then I'm happy for her' I forced a smile out and turned back to my luggage. I never stopped thinking about her in the last 9 months. But I knew that she wanted to distance herself from me and I wanted to give her that space. Zayn would update me on how she's doing as she kept in communication with him and Perrie.

But then again, I never made any effort to check for myself on how she's doing.

I dunno if that was because I wanted to giver her some space or I was too ashamed to face the music, the guilt, the shame that's been lingering inside of me.
