Chapter 2:
Tossing and turning the whole night, “Don’t talk to him again, you will regret it ~HS”, the more I thought about it the more it scared me. Is this some kind of prank? Was someone watching me? Who is HS? This is exactly what my parents were trying to protect me from. They took every precaution to make sure I had no interaction with the world; they always told me it was a terrible place filled with murderers, thieves, liars, etc. that I would never survive on my own. In a way I was glad they shielded me from this kind of fear but I was also mad, they never prepared me for it, what did they expect? That I was going to live with them the rest of my life? I would rather of had them let me experience it as a child, then be stuck in a situation not knowing what to do.
It took everything in me not to call my mom and tell her about it and how scared I was, but I knew that it would just result with me moving back home and her telling me a nice big “told you so”, I had to prove to her that I can live on my own and handle myself.
I got maybe 2 hours of sleep by the time I got out of bed. I had to go buy some supply’s for my apartment today so I ate a quick breakfast before curling my hair and getting dressed. I decided to just wear a sweat shirt, jeans, and my baby blue toms. I grabbed my keys and left.
Once arriving at the store I bought everything needed for my apartment. Thankfully it came furnished so I didn't have to buy any thing to expensive.
When I finished buying the necessities for my apartment I headed to forever 21.
I was making my way through the store and couldn't help but fell as if someone was watching me. I glance around, there are a few girls in here but they are too focused on the clothing in front of them to take any notice to me. I shrug it off and go back to searching through the racks.
After trying on a few outfits I head to the register. I am greeted by a girl who looked around my age; she gives me a sweet smile as she scans my items.
“Hello did you find everything alright today?”
“Yes thank you.” I smile back at her. She finished scanning my items,i quickly paid before she bagged and handed me my items.
“have a nice day”
“thanks you too.” I start making my way out the store
“wait one more thing.”
“Yah?”
“A young man came over to me today and asked me to give this to you, oh and he paid for it so enjoy” she say smiling. What guy? I look inside the bag to find really cute dress. I wonder who bought this for me, I rummage through the bag finding a small piece of paper at the bottom of the bag. It has a note on it, it was probably from Trevor, why would he be here?
I stand corrected as I reread the note held in my shaky hands.

I quickly drop the note back into the bag and rush over to the cashier.
“excuse me, “
“yes is everything okay?”
“ I was just wondering what the guy who bought this looked like?”
“Oh I didn’t really get a good look at him I was paying more attention to you, so I could remember who to give it to, but he had curly hair that’s all I really saw, sorry if I wasn’t much help”
“Oh its fine, thank you again.”
I don’t know what to make of the whole situation as I make my way out of the store and to my car. First he sends a threat and now a dress and a nice…. Comment or whatever it was. My anxiety grows as I make my way back to my apartment. What am I going to do?
