Broken

Niall's POV

The doorbell rang. It must be the lads. I got up and ran to the door. In came Harry, Louis, Liam, and Zayn. I brought the lads into my room to meet Emma. I walked in, and on the bed laid Emma in a ball. Once I sat on the bed, Emma's head shot up. I said, "Lads, this is Emma. Emma, This is Harry, Louis, Liam, and Zayn." I pointed to each one of them. She smiled and said hello. The lads smiley and said hello in return. She stood up and directed them to the living room. We turned on the TV on the news channel and it said, "Breaking news: Prisoner Peter Welsh escaped from prison approximately 3 hors ago." I looked over at Emma and her face was pale. I almost screamed, "Emma! What's wrong?!" She said, "My d-d-dad escaped from j-j-jail! He's going to find me and k-k-kill me!" I said, "Emma! Calm down!" And she screamed, " I can't calm down when my fucking abusive dad escaped from prison!"

I immediately got up and hugged Emma while she cried her eyes out. I explained Emma's childhood to the lads and they almost passed out. They all ran to her and hugged her tight. They asked is she wanted them to stay and she nodded. The boys left to grab some clothes and stuff.

Now's the chance.

I grabbed the necklace out of my pocket and got down on one knee infront of Emma and said, "Emma, will you be my girlfriend?" She immediately smiled and said, "Of course Niall!" I stood up and hugged her, kissed her cheek, and put the necklace on her neck and smiled. She smiled and said, "Niall, you didn't need to give me a necklace! It's georgeous!" I then replied, "Not as georgeous as you!" I kissed her forehead and brought her into the living room and sat her on my lap. The doorbell rang. I got up to answer the door. I opened it thinking it was the lads, but someone else not welcome was here.
