You Only Find Love Once

Michaela's POV

I just finished getting ready to go to Niall's.
I picked my phone up and left my apartment. I walked to Niall's place and knocked on the door. After a couple seconds he answered.
"Hey" he greeted with a smile, "I thought you might of forgotten"
"No i wouldn't forget" i chuckled.
"Good" he smiled, "Come in"
"Thanks"
"Do you want something to drink?"
"Just a coke please" i answered.
"He walked into the kitchen to get my drink. While he did that my eyes wandered the room and i saw on the sofa a photo album.
I sat down and opened it up. The first couple of photo's was with me and Niall in nappies together, food all over our faces. I turned the page and saw some of us actually dressed, me and Niall was playing in what looked like Maura's garden. I let out a little chuckle as it reminded me of all the stupid things we must of done together. I looked over flipped through pages of us as young kids and then it came the a page that said 'teenage years' I flipped the page to see Me and Niall standing together for out first day at secondary school, we looked like idiots except Niall who looked like a little cutie.
I looked at some of us together on trips, holidays, sleepovers and then it came to when we was leaving school. I skipped a lot of the book to more recent ones.
When i got to the back i saw something i wasn't excepting to see.
A picture of me by myself before prom. I was wearing my dress waiting outside with the car. just me alone and then another with Niall.
That was the day i fell in love with my best friend, Niall James Horan.
"Here's your drink" he handed my coke.
"Thanks"
"What you looking?"
"This photo album" i said putting it on the coffee table. "Did you make this?"
"Um yeah" he said and looked down.
"It's really good"
"Do you want it?"
"No, you keep it" i smiled.
"So what do you want to do?" he asked.
"How about if we catch up on the movie nights you missed"
"Ok then, you go pick" he said sitting back on the sofa.

Me and Niall have been watching movies for hours. it was pitch black.
We was watching a horror movie and of course i was terrified.
"You okay?" Niall asked
"What do you think?" i said in a sarcastic tone.
"Here. this better?" he asked and wrapped his warm arms around me.
To be honest it did make me feel better.
"Much better" i laughed.
I heard and knock on the door and Niall went to answer it.
"Hey" i heard a boy shout.
I turned around and saw Louis.
"Lou what you doing here?"
"Just thought i would stop by and give you a heads up that i proposed to El and she going crazy, she's on the phone and is probably going to knock on this door in 3..2..1" he said and straight after was loud banging. Niall opened the door again and i saw a crying Eleanor.
"Where is she, where is the girl" she cried.
"Um Michaela is there" Niall said pointing to the sofa where i was sitting.
She ran over to the sofa and jumped on me .
"Look at it"
"Oh my god its massive" i screamed with her. "Louis you spoil her"
"I know" he smirked
"So how did he do it"
"At dinner in our apartment, he had a whole speech, roses, candles the lot"
"Oooo you lucky bitch" i laughed.
"I know i am a lucky bitch" she laughed/cried.
I heard another knock on the door, probably one of the boys wondering what all the noise is. Niall answered and it was Barbara. Oh no.
"Hello" she said to Eleanor even though she was giving Barbara a death glare. "Niall what is she doing in here?"
"We was just watching movies" Niall said and crossed he's arms
"I'm the girl you watch movies with not her" she spat.
"She's my best friend.." she cut him off
"Yeah and I'm your girlfriend" Ok what did she just say.
"What? your not my girlfriend" he spat.
Thank fuck for that.
"So if I'm not your girlfriend who is?" she asked, "That slut" she said referring to me, "Who would want to go out with such a ugly, useless, slutty, escort like her" i could feel myself tear up, i wasn't going to let her see me crack and i just ran out the apartment.

I was sitting in my blood bath. i cut again, lots and the bath was red and the smell wasn't pleasant. i got out the bath and switch into my walk in shower, i turned the shower on to wash the blood off.
After the shower i came out into my living room wearing my dressing gown. I fell onto the sofa and just turned my TV on.
I couldn't be bothered to do anything else. i decided to watch a movie. Tangled. I love that movie. I put the disc in and pressed play .
I love the part of the movie were Rapunzel heals the man. I could use healing hair to get rid of my scars on my arms. i also like the healing incantation. i kept playing it over and over in my head until it was stuck in my head.

I heard a knock on my door and went to answer it.
"Hey Lou, what's up?"
"Are you okay?" he asked. "After earlier"
"Well there is nothing i can do so i kind of have to be ok with it"
"I promise you everything will be okay"
"Don't break that promise"
"Don't worry i won't" he chuckled.
"Do you want to come in?"
"I would but i have to get back to telling family the news" he smiled.
"Oh that's ok" i smiled back.
"I will come visit you tomorrow though"
"Ok see ya then" he waved walking back to his apartment.
I walked back to the sofa and went back to watching my movie.
I got a text from Niall saying 'sorry about Barbara, this is so complicated, I'm sorry'
It was kind of nice to know that he actually cared this time.
Before he just ignored me. But tomorrow is another day.
