She begs,
"Help me"
With her eyes
She whispers,
"I'm lonely"
As you pass right by
She walks thru a crowd
Feeling even more alone

She searches thru faces
For an expression like her own

She wonders,
"Am I'm the only one
Who feels this way?"
She screams inside,
"Can't anyone
See my pain?!"
She whispers,
"Won't someone
Help me?"
But no one
Seems to hear
She begs,
"Who can save me?"
Thru a curtain of
Her tears.

One frail hand touches
The edge of her sleeve
One wise woman
Says, "Yes, I heard you speak,

I'm so sorry that you feel
The way you do
Please remember
Others do care and
God will not forsake you

No matter how sad
Our souls may feel
God will lead us
To a path that heals

You are never alone
God's love is true
