Through The Dark

“Aw, I know, I know. I’m going to miss you, too.” I say, bouncing Darcy in my arms has she cried.

It was the day before the wedding and I was getting ready for Fer to come pick me up. I’m staying with her tonight and Harry is going to stay with Liam. Anne and Gemma are coming to the house to watch the twins for tonight and make sure they are ready and dressed for tomorrow.

“Here, let me have her. You’re ride is here and she will never quit crying until you actually leave.” Gemma said, holding her hands out for my baby girl.

I kissed Darcy’s forehead and grabbed my large over night bag. I kissed Dylan on the cheek before walking out the front door. Harry held the car door open for me, grinning down at me.

“So, I’ll see you tomorrow?” He asked, resting his arm on the car door as he leaned on it.

“Unless you realize what you are getting yourself into and hide from me.” I tease, kissing him.

“Oh, I know exactly what I’m getting myself into.” he said, grinning at me.

I rolled my eyes as him and placed my bag in the back seat before turning towards him.

“I can’t wait until tomorrow. Until you are officially the Mrs. Styles. I love you.” He says, smiling sweetly at me.

“I love you, too, Harry.” I say, not helping myself as I smiled back.

“Meet me at the alter?” He asked, shutting the door behind me as I got in.

“I’ll be the one in white.” I say, giving him one last peck before he backed up from the car and let us leave.

“You really didn’t have to do this, Fer.” I said, following her through the double doors of her favorite spa.

“Well, you are about to get married so why not be a little pampered? Besides, I can have one free and decided it would be you.” She said, giving her name to the lady at the desk.

“Change into these and we will be ready for you.” She smiled, handing us two white robes.

Fer nodded her head and took them, handing me one before leading me to the dressing rooms.

“They have special bags for yours clothes, so no worries. Write your name on the bag and they won’t be messed with.” Fer said before closing her door.

I stripped down and placed my clothes in the given bag. I wrote my name on the and tied the robe around my waist, stepping out. Fer gave me an encouraging smile and motioned for me to follow her as she was lead through a door.

“The regular?” A lady asks, making Fer nod.

“Both?”

“Yes, both.” She says, dropping the robe to bare herself as she lays on her stomach on the bed looking thing, the lady placing a towel over her bum.

“Just relax, Nichole. It’s all good.” Fer said, grinning at me as she placed her arms above her head and rests her chin on them as she looked at me.

I nodded and did the same thing, my cheeks blazing as the towel was placed over my back side. Soon enough I was contemplating thanking Fer over and over again as the masseuse began to massage my back, getting out all the tension from my shoulders and in between my shoulder blades.

After a few more hours of being pampered and massaged, Fer and I was back in her car, headed to a different place in town.

“Since you are with me and you are the bride, I must insist that you get your nails done with me.” Fer said as she parked her car in front of a nail salon.

“I don’t really do fake nails.” I admit, shrugging a shoulder.

“You don’t have to. Your nails are long enough to just polish and get a french tip and ta-da. You’re done. That’s what I’m doing.” She says as she exits the car. I sigh and follow her.

An mani and pedicure later We both walked out feeling real girly. I’ve never had my nails done before, not even for prom.

“Okay, let’s get some food and we can go home.” She says, making me smile as she pulls in at sonic.

“Double bacon cheeseburger, large fry and a large coke.” I say, offering her my credit card. She ignores that plastic and orders her food after mine, paying for everything.

“I could have paid for mine.” I say, feeling bad that she has paid for everything today.

“Nah, it’s all good. I’m more than happy to pay for it.” She says, passing me my food.

“Okay. Well, I appreciate it.” I say as I stuff a few french fries into my mouth.

“No problem, babe.” She said, heading towards her house.

“Everything okay in here?” Fer asked as she rocked her little boy in he arms.

I nod and give her the thumbs up, fluffing my pillow out before pulling my blanket up over me and settle into the bed.

“Just making sure. Good night, Nichole. Sleep good, you have a big day tomorrow.” She says, grinning at me.

“You to. Shut off the light for me, yeah?” I asked.

She nodded her head and the light flipped off and the door was shut. I yawned and rolled over, curling up in a ball as I closed my eyes and drifted into sleep.
