Chapter 3 : The Nightmare.
Hunter playfully elbowed me “C’Mon, Scarlett Rose Alexander, don’t be such a girl!”
“Shut up Hunter Blake Heathcliff.” I hit him. He grabbed his arm and rubbed it acting as if id hit him hard.
I snorted “Puh-lease don’t be such a pussy.”
“I’m not a pussy I’m sensitive” He made a fake cry face.
“You idiot.” I chuckled.
He pulled me close and kissed me between each word “I’m. No. Idiot” I could feel the smile playing on his lips.
“You are,” I replied “My idiot”
~A Blinding flash and I was somewhere else. ~
I was in the camp- the old camp- the Moon Cast a Ghostly shadow over the trees.
Groans, and moans and grunts and growls, everywhere, they where here I could almost smell them. Gun shots and gurgles and screams, I looked over at Vic and Julian fighting, I knew what was going to happen, Vic would grab his knife and Julian would grab the pointed spear they would protect one another and then, they would get them, Julian with a bite that tore off his right shoulder- ten on him- I could remember the scream. Vic with one the back of the leg. And then Nick would kill the last ones. But, it would be too late they would be dead.
~Another Flash~
“Look Scarlett,” Hunter sighed Patience running thin “I am lea-ving” He enunciated each syllable “I have to go”
No matter how many times he said this it couldn’t get through my thick head. “no you don’t, you don’t have to.”
“Okay,” He sighed “Scar, I need to go” He took my face in his hands “I am only going so I can come back and keep us all safe, If the BCCDC is okay we can put in survivors and live safely there! I need to do it for us Scarlett, please trust me. I’ll come back for you, I swear. ”
And a flash he was walking away and a flash he wasn’t at the camp.
