*present time*
"Diana Maria Stefania, get your butt downstairs!" Dad yelled, as I refused to come down.

I could tell he was stressed.

"Dad what is wrong?" I asked rubbing my eyes and yawning as I dragged myself down the stairs.

"I will be going away for a few weeks, don't wreck the house while i'm gone okay?"

I sigh.

"Dad, is this mafia business again?" I asked and he frowned.

"I'm sorry kitten, but I can't do anything about it"

I know he has to, but he has been away too much the past six months. For eight whole years the mafia left us alone, but now they are back again, and dad is more stressed than he has ever been.

"Why!? Why do you have to go now!?" I raise my voice.

"I still have debt to pay, you know that, they left us alone, but found that I have more to do" He said staying calm.

"But what debt!?"

"Nothing that concerns you!!" He yelled back, and I knew the argument was over.

There were constant tears as dad packed, and they haven't stopped since.

"Stay safe kitten" He said softly as he kissed my forehead.

I could hear the pain in his voice as he said that, it is always hard for him to leave me. Even though he has done it so many times, I think it gets harder for him every time.

"I love you dad, please don't get hurt" I wrapped my arms around his neck.

After a few minutes of silence, he let go.

"Until we meet again, kitten"

"Until we meet again" I say as he goes to leave, with a firm grip still on my hand.

Then he let go...

That is always the hardest part when he leaves.

Having to let go of his hand...

"I love you" I whispered as he drove off.

"I guess it's going to be just me for the next month..."

Unknown P.O.V
I will have my revenge on Nicholas, no matter what it takes.
I shall make him pay for what he did.

Diana's P.O.V
"Scratchy it is time for your dinner!" I yelled to my furry feline cat as she walked over to me.

"What a sassy cat you are" I said as she held her head high, jumping on top of the counter.

"Missy, you aren't getting your whiskas if you keep that attitude!" As if she could hear me she hopped back down.

"That's right, you be a good kitty now" I scold dishing up her fishy treat.

"Here you go you little monster" I put the bowl down and go to walk outside.

I pretty much live in the middle of no where, there is a city a few miles away, but no one ever comes here.

Which is why it is strange to see a boy my age walking towards me.

"Excuse me!" He called out, he was quite handsome with brown hair and brown eyes.

"Can I help you?"

"Oh yes hello my name is Philipe!"
