The Beggining

Chapter 3

It's been about a month since mine and Caitlyn's dinner whatever you want to call it. Since then we have went out a few more times, and well now.. We're officially dating ! I know it all seems so fast, but I love her and I missed her. The fans are slowly adjusting to her. She's so nice to them. She's nice to everyone.
I am a bit worried though. I havn't talked to her in about a week. It seems like she's been distant. She responds to my texts, but it's just short replies. When I call her, she dosn't try to start a conversation. I know these may just seem like little things, like no big deal, but I know something's up with her. I guess maybe I should meet up with her ?

N: hey ! I don't have any plans today. Wanna come over ?

C: umm, yeah. When ?

N: now ?

C: on my way

See what i mean ? Very short responses. She's usually not like that. Now that I have been sitting here thinking about it so much, I'm starting to stress. What could it be ? Does she want to break up with me ? I hope not. Everything has been going fine, at least I thought. Now it's really gonna bother me. Well at least she's coming over. Maybe we can talk about it ? Or is that a bad idea ? Ughhh I don't even know. I start running my fingers through my hair. Kinda a thing I do when I stress. And I bite my nails. Which I'm pretty sure I'll start doing soon. That's when I hear a knock on the door.
I go to open the door.

"Hey Caitlyn !" I greeted her with a smile and hug.

"Hey Ni." She said blandly.

"Come on in."

I opened the door a little bit to let her in. She walked in and sat on the couch.
"So.. What do you want to do ?" I asked her.

"Whatever you want to do is fine." She hasn't looked up at me since she got here. I sat on the opposite end of the couch she was on. Just to give her space.

"Caitlyn. I can tell something's up with you. I mean you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to, but I am your boyfriend now and I'd kinda like to be there for you through whatever it is that has gotten you so upset." I looked up at her after I finished and a tear ran down her face. I moved closer to her and caressed her face in my hand and wiped the tear off her check. "Hey now, don't cry. Whatever it is I promise it will be okay. But baby please don't cry please." She sniffed.

"Niall, I have to tell you something that is super important."

"Okay. Tell me."

"Before I tell you can you promise me something ?"

"Anything."

"I really just need you to be there for me and love me. This is the hardest thing I've been through and I'm gonna need you now more than ever."

"Of course. Caitlyn, I love you so much. I promise to be here for you through this. Through anything. Always."

"Niall..." She looked me in the eyes. "I'm pregnant"
