Niall's POV
Today has been a drag. I'm bored out of my mind. That's how it usually is the first day or so that your back from tour. Your so used to always being busy that you never know what to do with yourself when you get back home. So far today i slept, ate, and did a follow spree. Seriously, that's it and it's already 4:00. I decided I would text Caitlyn amd to ahead and make our plans for dinner.
N: hey Caitlyn ! It's niall ! Umm I was wondering if there is any specific day you would want to have out dinner ? I'm on break so any time works for me.
C: hey Ni ! Umm, I don't really have a preference either. I'm on holiday for awhile so anytime works.
N: I've been pretty bored today, and need something to look forward to. Does tonight work ?
C: absolutely ! What time and where ?
N: the new place in town and let's say 7 ?
K: that sounds great ! I'll meet ya there ! (:
Well it's already 4:30 now and since I have nothing better to do I decide to go ahead and start getting ready. I took a long shower since I actually had time. I guess I didn't realize how good it felt to take a long shower in a normal sized shower since I hadn't had either in a long time. It's about 5:30 when I get out. I decide to actually iron my clothes for tonight. (Surprise right ? I know !) I lay them aside and decide that I probably shouldn't put them on until last minuet knowing how messy I am. I go and do my hair and text Louis for awhile before I finally decide to get dressed.

It's about 6:30 when I leave. Good timing Niall ! It's about a 20 min. drive there so if I must say so my self... Good job !
I get there and go ahead and get a table for us. Right at 7 Caitlyn walks in. Looks like that's one thing that hasn't changed about her. Right in time for everything. When I look up I'm seriously speechless she looks gorgeous. I havn't seen her dressed up like this in what seems like forever. She seriously looks stunning.

"Hey Caitlyn !" I get up and hug her. That dosnt seem to be awkward for either of us. I actually miss those hugs. I mean, she does give the best.
"Hey Ni !" We both sit down across from each other. "This place looks really nice. I've heard really great things about it." She says.
"Me too. I've never been hear myself, but Harry has and he said I had to come check it out sometime. Which of you have met me, you know that there's not much food I don't like."
"Oh trust me ! I know !" She replies with laughter. Wow. Her smile always has mesmerized me.
We order our drinks and just continue small talk until our food gets here.
"How is it ?" I ask her.
"Oh my godddd ! It's amazing !" Yep. She's ways lived food about as much as I do. Guess that's another thing that hasn't changed about her. I laugh in response.
We just kinda sit there and talk about anything and everything. She would ask me about my career and I would ask her about school. I really have missed out so much on her life.
"Well it seems as if you seem to be doing real well school wise." I tell her.
"Yeah. I would say so. It's actually really nice to be in beak though. I always live time to just sit back and relax."
"I agree. I love break. Now what are you majoring in ?"
"I'm trying to get my doctorate." She responds.
"Hmmm Dr. Caitlyn. That's got a nice ring to it" I laugh.
"Ha ! I thought so myself." She responds.
"Well it sounds like you have been doing real good." I say with a genuine smile.
"Yeah, I guess." She says. I can tell there's more behind that then what she said.
"What's wrong ?" I ask her.
"Nothing"
"Caitlyn, I know we have been distant, but I know you to well to know that there is something wrong with you." I reach across the table and grab her hand knowing how that comforts her.
"It's just. There is a few things I miss from before I started school."
"Like what ?"
"Us." She looks down to her lap. Wow. I really wasn't expecting that. It was actually the last thing I expected for her to say.
"Hey now." I say and walk over and kneel down beside her chair. I put my hand under her chin me lifted it up so she was looking up at me. "You now that I didn't want to leave you right ? I did it so we wouldn't have to worry about each other while I'm away. I thought it would be better for both of us." I have to admit I started tearing up. I miss her. "Caitlyn, I miss you too. So much." She looked up into my eyes. Her eyes were very watery. More than mine. I cup her face in my hand rubbing my thumb on her cheek. "Don't cry Caitlyn. Please." That's when the first tear fell.
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-" I crashed my lips onto hers. I know that if I didn't stop her from talking she would just start crying more. I also just wanted to kiss her. The kiss was full of passion. We both wanting more of each other from being apart so long. I miss her so much. I just want to be closer to her.
"Niall. I miss us."
"I miss us too. Let's head back. I'm not letting you stay by yourself in this type of mood. I know you to well. You'll just go and cry even more." She giggles. She knows I'm right.
When we got back to my place I push her against the door and kiss her deciding in my head I'm gonna show her tonight how much I love and miss her. Let's just say, that was a long night.
