I checked the time on my phone; it was 6:50 and the sun was just setting creating a hazy orangy—tanish color.

I took another sip from my coffee before picking up my tablet and continue on with my book.
I was in the café that was just on the board walk along the beach. It wasn’t quite a walk since our house is the beach house that’s down the street….but it certainly felt like a long trip.
My mom met Larry when we lived in Manchester, England but now we moved to Santa Cruz, California.

Now we all live together as one big happy family supposedly. Since Harry moved in I felt like I never have any privacy, I can never walk around my room in my underwear because he cave’s in like every second.

And to mind he always have these little hussie’s coming over or like he says “Dropping by” just so they can you know do-the-do in his bedroom. Luckily me I’ve learned from him, to never fall for a player um what’s the word? Oh yeah womanizer.

I heard the bells hanging from the top right corner of the cafe door jingle as it opened. I looked up interrupting my thought to see Harry stride in hand and hand with Shelby.
I held my hand up higher on my face to hide myself; hoping that he would walk right on by. Luckily they just headed straight to the counter, not even seeing me.

Quietly as I could I packed up my book, and paid for my coffee. I walked by them as fast as I could; shrugging on my shoulder bag more. I was so close to the door until I felt a tug on my arm.
I turned around to see Harry standing in front of me. He put his hands in his front pockets and was fidgeting.

And actually for once in his life he looked nervous. But why? He’s talked to me every day ever since our parents got married….what changed that now?
“Um hey I didn’t know you come here”

I shook my head yes in reply as I stood there while an awkward silence rushed over us.
He came closer to me now “Look Valentina I know we didn’t get off on a good start but I’m willing to make this work if you do”

“Harry I’m tired” we both turn to see Shelby putting on a pouting face.
In my mind I thought “Hold up bitch….he’s talking to me, his sister! Wait!”.
He turned back around now, anguishes since he’s being rushed “Did you um walk here?”
I lied “No…um I took a bike”

“Oh, well….I….I guess that I’ll see you at home?”
I stared deep into his eyes. Trying to search and find for the reason or explanation why he is so nervous right now.

“Okay”
I got mid-way of turning around “Oh um” he stopped his sentence. I turned around to face him again “Huh?”
He rubbed his neck now “I think…uh…you look pretty nice”

I looked down at my clothes, what the hell?!!
I looked back up at him “Uhh…thanks?”

He stared at me intensely. He wanted to say something else but I could tell he had a hard time of letting it come out.

Shelby came and wrapped her fingers in-between Harrys “C’mon babe, I’m tired”
Harry looked down at her for a second then back at me giving me a sympathy smile then turned and walked out.

I was half way home. The sun fully went down only leaving slight light in the sky. I kept turning to look behind me; feeling like somebody was following me. I picked up my pace, as my breathing quickened.

I shrugged my bag on higher and crossed my arms. I kept staring around me; the silence was over bearing and scary.

A pair of headlights shined on the road as it was driving past me. It got a couple of feet’s ahead before hitting the breaks and reversing backwards. I stood there over panicking, maybe this is a killer? A person who like picking up little girls? Oh god it’s kidnapper!
I hesitated about running or staying and finding out who it was. My decision making took so long that the person already pulled up.

Such a relief that I didn’t run. Harry rolled down his window.
“I thought you don’t like liars?” he yelled over the engine.

I rolled my eyes and continued walking. I would rather drop dead then get inside that car with that guy.

He drove at the same speed as my walking. “Listen I’m sorry can you just get inside the car….it’s cold and my cars warm”
I turned towards him to see a bubbly smile on his face that deepened his dimples.
I shrugged my Bag again and continued “I’m fine Harry….just go”

He put the car in park and came around to my side and met me on the sidewalk. To not be rude I stopped and face him.
“Listen Valentina….why can’t you just trust me? I know that you probably think of me as the “ladies man” but I’m your brother also”

I took a step closer to him “Step….brother”
He rolled his eyes “Okay whatever just….just can you be more nice? I’m new to this too” he took a step closer to me; putting his hand on my shoulder.

I shrugged my shoulder “I guess” he slid his hand of my shoulder and returned it back to his front pocket “Yes finally”

Something deep and twisted inside the pit of my stomach wanted him to touch me again. I felt safe when he touched me.

He pulled me into a hug. I stood there breathing in his scent; feeling my cheek pressed up against his strong pectorals. His arms tightened around me. I focused on his heart. No his heart wasn’t beating a normal tempo or even a slow tempo. His heart was beating rapidly; out of pure fear? Excitement? Nervousness? I don’t know but something has changed about Harry, he seems more caring about me. It was just a hand full of weeks ago that he was ignoring the living shit out of me

He didn’t even notice me in the hallway at school!!

thanks for the comments and i don't put this story in two persepectives beacause i normally did with all other stories. But i think that i'll like involve Harry's P.O.V like at the end of the story but i'll start that in like chapter 8 because i already pre-wrote these stories....but yeah plz subscribe!!
