The Journal
In My Place
"Damn it," I muttered.
Stupid vending machine. The one time I decide to bring exact change with me it decides to just eat up my money and not give me the chips I wanted.
Are all vending machines in Paris like this?
I certainly hope not. If we're going to be staying here in Paris for 4 months to make our new album, that means we'll be in the studio 24/7 and I'm definetely going to want to snack at least twice a day. You can't expect me to want to stay hungry all day because we're probably not going to have any time to go get something from a fast food place.
Ugh, I give up. No matter how many times I bang this damn machine, my snack is never going to come out. Maybe I should just start exploring, afterall, if we're going tl be here for 4 months, I should atleast know my way around the place.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walking for a few more minutes, I managed to find my way outside in a little rest area. It was a small garden, with a few benches and lots of plants, and a porch swing to the side.
As I approached the swing, I realized there was a small object left there. A notebook. No doubt it was a diary or a journal.
So I opened the journal and started reading the only page there was.
What can I say?
Curiousity killed the cat.
And left him completely heartbroken.

Notes
Ok, so a few things:-Cory is her bestfriend (not sure if he'll have feelings for her)
-The page Zayn is reading of the journal (the only page) is post 1 (the prologue)
-Italisized chapters mean its a journal entry
-The bold words at the end of chapter are hints for the story (dont worry it will have a happy ending)
-Normal font chapters are all Zayns Point of View unless i mention its not
-Underlined font is Zayn's writing in the girls journal
