Chapter 8
The One Call I Have Been Waiting For
***Kourtney’s POV***
It has been about a month since the boys moved in with me and I’m enjoying every second of it. Along with the boys Eleanor, Perrie, Natalie, Paige, and Onna come over a lot with their boyfriends so they basically live here too. This morning I woke up to Liam lying on my bed with me humming while he was skimming through twitter.
“Good morning Li.” I said stretching.
“Good morning to you too love. By any chance to you have a twitter? I need to follow my girlfriend don’t I” He said with a wink.
“Of course you do! It’s @Kourtney_K_69 ignore the sixty-nine part I’ve had the account for forever and just realized how much I hate that user name.” I answered.
“It’s fine babe. It shows your wild side.” Li said winking at me.
Next thing I know my phone dings. I look at Liam then back to my phone. It’s a twitter notification from Liam. I open it and this is what I find.
@Real_Liam_Payne: The best thing to wake up to is my beautiful girlfriend. Love you @Kourtney_K_69.
Attached to it is a picture of me sleeping. Oh he’s going to get it now.
“Liam! Why did you put a picture of me sleeping for the world to see?!?!” I snapped.
“Because you’re so cute Kourtney.” He answered.
The next thing I know I have mentions and follows from all the other boys. The tweets say things like Awww look at little Kourtney, Liam you’re going to get it, and you better keep her safe Liam. She is everything to me. The last one was from Harry.
After breakfast with the usual people we discuss plans for today. We decide to go to an indoor pool since it’s too cold to go to the beach. Now I just have to get ready. Liam follows me upstairs to my room because we stay together now. I just moved each of the boys down a room to keep my OCD from kicking in. I’m very organized. Now I need to shower.
I walk into the bathroom and pull the shower curtain back so I can turn the water on. I jump in and start to wash my hair and body. I make sure to spend a little extra time shaving since we are going swimming and I really don’t want my legs to be al hairy. I shut the water of and reach for my towel to kind that it’s not there. Crap I eft it on my bed. I’ll just have Liam bring it to me.
“Hey Liam? I left my towel on the bed. Can you bring it to me?” I ask.
“Yeah babe. I’ll be there in a second.” He replies. Thank the lord he was in the bedroom.
Next thing I know I hear a ‘bang’ and Liam comes tumbling into the bathroom face first. He must have tripped on a pair of my shoes. Oops. Then I realize I naked standing in front of him. I scream and jump back into the shower and rip the curtain back to cover my naked body. I do this only to slip and fall on the wet shower floor and I take the shower rod with me. Then Harry runs in.
“What’s going on here what did you guys do?!?!” Harry yells. By now Liam is off the floor standing by the shower.
“It’s okay Harry I asked Liam to grab my towel off the bed. Then he tripped over something and it scared me, so when I went to jump back into the shower I fell.” I reply.
“Okay? Well hurry up.” Harry says while leaving my bathroom.
Well that was awkward.
***Liam’s POV***
After Harry leaves from our little encounter I turn around to help Kourtney up. I carefully lift the shower curtain off of her fragile little body. Then I lift her up, but she keeps on struggling.
“Kourtney, just let me help you up so you don’t hurt yourself more. We have been together for about a month I don’t care that you’re naked.” I say to her.
I grab Kourtney underneath her thighs and lift her out of the tub. I give her the towel to wrap around her self when I notice that her forehead is gushing blood.
“Kourtney, sit on the toilet your forehead is bleeding quite badly.” She doesn’t answer me and sits down.
She reaches up to touch it, but when I grab her wrist she notices how mine has some blood on it from her head and her eyes start to roll back.
“Harry! Get in here quick!” Instead of Harry Niall comes running in with Zayn.
“Don’t just stand there help me get her to the bed please.” I say to Zayn and Niall.
When we get Kourtney to the bed Harry is finally into the room. We get the bleeding to stop and put an ACE bandage around her head.
“Is she going to be okay Harry?” I say starting to get teary eyed.
“Yeah, she’s fine. She just hates blood. She has since she was little.” Harry replies stroking Kourtney’s hair.
After about ten minutes Kourtney finally wakes up. We check her over to make sure she is fine for swimming today. She turns out just fine, so I help her into her swimming suit.
We all hop into the cars and head to the pool.
**Kourtney’s POV***
After my nasty spill we still go to the pool knowing I’ll be fine. It’s just I really hate blood after what happened when I was little.
***Flash Back***
I was playing with Harry down by the creek when I was about 10 so Harry was 14. We were climbing down to the water when I slipped on a rock and fell the rest of the way down. I woke up in the hospital with Harry by my side. Harry was my brother basically back then too because my mom never wanted me home. I had tons of scratches on my body. The worst one was on my left breast. Now I have a permanent scare on my breast. It a couple of inches long and it makes me really self conches.
***Flash Back Over***
We spent hours at the pool playing pool games, laughing with eachother, and just swimming around when we got home I heard my laptop ringing so I ran upstairs to see what it was. It was a skype call. From Kendall!
I click accept and the first thing to pop up is Kendall’s beautiful face. Oh how much I missed his smile. Not just that, but all of him.
“Oh my gosh Kendall! I haven’t seen you in forver how are you?!” I ask him clearly excited.
“I’m fine, just missing you.” He says. He is so sweet.
“Aww, I miss you too Kenda-.” I’m interrupted by Liam walking into the room.
“Who are you talking to Kourtney?” Liam asks.
“Who’s that Kourtney?” Kendall asks.
“Liam, come here and meet my brother Kendall.” I tell Liam.
“Nice to meet you Kendall, I have heard a lot about you from your sister over here.” Liam says to Kendall.
“Kendall incase you were wondering, this is my boyfriend Liam Payne. He’s living here with me along with Harry and the rest of the boys in One Direction.” I add.
“Ahh, I see now. You didn’t tell me you had a boyfriend Kourtney.” Kendall says a bit less enthusiast.
“Liam is a great guy Kendall. You can’t judge someone before you meet them mister.” I scold my brother.
“Well I have to go Kourtney. I have to...umm…help mom, with the new baby.” Kendall says. I break right there. She didn’t want me but, she decided to have more children to replace me.
“Oh. Okay. I love you Kendall, more than anything in the world. I hope I can talk to you again soon.” I say trying not to burst out crying.
“I love you too Kourtney, even more than you love me. See you soo-.” I shut the laptop lid before he can finish his sentence.
I bust out crying into Liam’s shoulder. I’m glad I have him at times like this.
“Woah, Kourtney calm down. Everything is going to be okay.” Liam says trying to calm me down.
“No Liam! You don’t understand. My own mother just left me because she didn’t want anymore children. Then she goes behind my back and has more children! Liam that is not right. I loved that woman!” I screamed at Liam.
By now Harry is in the room grabbing me from Liam.
“Kourtney, its okay you don’t need her anymore you have us.” Harry says, but it’s not helping.
“No Harry you heard what I said!” I said screaming.
***Harry’s POV***
Kourtney’s crying, again. This happens after every skype call she has with her brother. I almost want her to stop them completely. Never see his face again, but that would make her worse. She hasn’t been this bad sense her mom had the last baby.
***Liam’s POV***
After about an hour Harry and I finally get Kourtney to calm down and fall asleep. I say goodnight to Harry and crawl into bed with Kourtney.
I have to get Kendall back to the United Kingdom, as soon as possible.
