Live While We're Young

Marina's POV

"Let's go shopping!" Josie screamed, hurting my ears. In the mornings my ears were extremely sensitive. Even more so that at night.

"I don't know about that. We should really be getting back." Scarlett said blankly.

"I completely agree with Scarlett." I told them firmly.

"Please, love?" Liam begged wrapping his arm around my waist. Why did he have to be so persuasive?

"Okay, but we have to go home right away after this." I instructed carefully.

"So," Olivia pursed her lips. "Where should we go first once we get there?"

"Forever 21!" Louis yelled.

"No! Hollister!" Nessa screamed. Their heads started inching towards each other as if they were about to kiss.

"Whoa, guys! That's enough!" I pulled them apart and Nessa started to pout.

Louis smirked at me. "You should talk."

"Shut it." I growled, crossing my arms over my chest.

We decided to go to Forever 21 first just to shut Louis up. As soon as we entered the store Louis ran around grabbing clothes left and right.

"Here you go." Louis muttered handing me red skinny jeans and a striped tee. I had tried to put a stop to this nonsense but Louis just said, "dressing room now."

When I stepped out of the dressing room and the boys murmured in excitement.

"So what do you think?" I asked nervously.

"You look like Louis." Harry confirmed.

I smiled. "I wonder why."

"No not just the clothes you guys look like you could be related. I think it's the eyes and hair that does it." Liam said, looking extremely observant.

"Louis, I think we found you're long lost sister." Niall joked.

I ended up buying the clothes Louis chose for me, but I was left wondering if it was possible Louis was my brother. After all I was adopted as an infant and had no memory of my real family. We headed back to the lads' flat to grab our things after shopping before making our way home.

"So," Niall started. "Before do you want something to drink before you leave?"

"I'll take a water." I told him. Zayn walked to the kitchen and brought me a glass of water. "Thanks." I took a swig from my cup and dropped it catching, clutching my throat. The glass shattered across the tile floor and the smell of alcohol filled the room.

Liam and Nessa dropped down by my side. "What is it?"

Josie gasped. "Alcohol. Does anybody have an epipen?!"

"No!" Louis and Harry yelled, looking terrified.

"We have to get her to the hospital." Scarlett whispered.

Olivia was speechless. "Help me already!" Nessa screamed, holding my head up.

Louis' POV

I felt terrible! Last night Harry and me were messing around and swapped the vodka for water in the refrigerator and forgot to put it back. How come we were so stupid?!

"Who's in charge of her?" The nurse asked us kindly.

"I am." I said immediately. I got her into this mess so I was going to be the one who got her out of it.

"Come with me." I followed her behind closed doors. "It turned out she was allergic to alcohol. Right now she's asleep, but she'll be ready to go home in a couple of hours."

"Okay." I said in a small voice. Well, at least she was alive.

The nurse pulled out a stack of papers. "I'll need you to sign these confirming this is the correct person."

She handed me the papers and I glanced at the one on top. It was her birth certificate. The first thing I noticed on the birth certificate was Marina's full name and I gasped.

Marina Bonnie Poulston
November 2nd, 1995
Mother: Johanna Poulston
Father: Troy Austin

Those were the two name's of my biological parents. That meant Marina was my...sister.
