Tomorrow, me and Becca were going to a party that is being thrown by Blake Dawson, probably the most popular guy in school.
We weren't invited of course, but you know....we're rebels.
It was a Thursday and me and Becca were planning on a trip to the mall right after school to go look for dresses. I wasn't exactly the party type, but hey? Who doesn't like crashing a good party? Well that and also Becca practically got on her knees and begged me until I gave in. I swear, that girl will be the death of me.
Right now I was in my 4th lesson. Math. Ew. I usually just sit at my desk all hour and doodle on my notebook, but today was different. Mr.Smith made sure that I was paying attention by calling on me to give an answer. Seems how I wasn't paying attention, I yelled out the first number that came to mind.
"69!" I called out quickly.
Everybody laughed and I smirked. Everybody except the teacher. Mr. Smith gave me a disapproving look and gave me a detention.
Oh well.
It was worth it. Ha!
I was at my locker putting all my books up to go to lunch when Becca approached me looking sad.
"What's wrong Bec?" I asked her. She looked like she was about to cry so I grabbed her by the arm and led her into the bathrooms. I turned around and looked her in the eyes so she knew that I was still expecting an answer.
"Josh broke up with me!" She said and then started sobbing. I pulled her in for a hug as she rested her head on my shoulder and cried her heart out.
Josh was her boyfriend of two years. I never really liked him. He's rude and self-centered and an all around douchebag. He even cheated on Becca a few times but she forgave him every time because she loved him so much. I can only imagine what his reasons were for breaking up with her.
"He told me that he's found someone else!" She said while still crying her heart out. "And that's not even the worst part!" She continued, "He's apparently been cheating on me with her for the past 3 months! How did I not notice?!" She said while pulling out of our embrace and throwing her arms in the air in frustration.
"I don't know Bec. It wasn't just you that didn't notice. I didn't either." I said, trying to make her feel better. She started to sob again and we just stood in the middle of the bathroom for who knows how long. Me trying my best to comfort her.
When she had finally calmed down and cleaned herself up, lunch was just now ending and me and Bec decided to skip the rest of the day and start our shopping trip early.
We both walked to my locker so that I could get my bag out of my locker when I saw Josh standing there, talking to his new fuck buddy.
Just then I got a genius idea. Well sorta genius?
"Hey Bec?" I asked
"Yeah?" She replied
"I'll be right back." I stated, not waiting for a response from Becca and making my way towards Josh.
I stopped in front of him and looked him in the eye before giving him a sweet smile.
Then I slapped him in the face.
"What the hell was that for?!" He asked while looking at me, anger pooling in his eyes while he held his stinging cheek.
"That, my dear friend was for cheating on Becca." I said with a smirk on my face. "And this," I lifted my knee and kneed him as hard as I could in the balls, "Is for breaking her heart." I said to him, anger flooding my voice. He was on the ground, his face red because of the pain I had just caused him. I smiled and walked back to Becca.
She was smiling at me, trying her hardest to contain her laughter. I grabbed her arm and started to lead her outside, passing an angry Josh. I just flipped him the bird and smiled sweetly at him while we continued to walk until we reached my car. Just then me and Becca bust out laughing until we had tears streaming down our faces.
"That...was...awesome!!" Becca said in between laughs.
When we finally calmed ourselves down, I started the engine to my car and pulled out of the parking lot.
We pulled into the malls parking lot and I parked and cut the engine. We got out of my car and made our way to the front doors.
The first store we went to was Deb's. It was probably one of my most favorite stores ever.
I tried on at least 10 dresses before I decided on the perfect one. It was all white with silver sequins in the bust area. It was very hugging around my butt and boobs and it was strapless and stopped at my knees. It was beautiful!
Beccas dress was almost the same thing except hers was black and had one sleeve that cuffed at her wrist. She looked amazing!
We were so ready to crash this party!
