" we think she's homeles..."
I jump of the beanbag and scramble towards the door pushing him out the way.

I run out the room and down the stairs jumping them two at a time.

I can feel Max hot on my tail.

He blabbering about something, saying he new i was weird.

As if I care! I'd turn round and punch him but I need to see Kat...

i skid into the hall turn the corner and see her.

I run straight at her pushing the care worker out the way and jumping on her.

She lifts me up and hugs me tightly.

I hug her back crying into her hair.

After 3 days of almost constant crying, I still have more.

But these ones are of happiness. With only an tiny hint of sadness.


KAT P.O.V
ive found an apartment.

Its big enough for me and her.

I unpacked. Placed things nicely. All our pictures up.

Sofa, beds, tv and things arrived.

Some things don't fit so I've had to sell them.

got a good deal though.

its weird being by myself. But it won't be for long...

I also had to buy a new phone.

New number. New place. New start.

no one can contact me now.

Like Niall. The last two days my phone had Litterally blown up because of all his messages.

Like since when did he care?



Im finally allowed to see Meg today!

im excited. Really excited. But also sad.

The care lady phoned up and asked me to drop some of her stuff off.

I pack some clean clothes in a bin bag for her. Shoes too.

I hailed a taxi and gave him the address to take me.


"how can I help you?" A women answers the door. "Are you lost?" She then sees the bin bags.
"I'm here to see Meg, drop off her things..." I hold up the bin bag
"ahh yes, well I'll take them for you. "
"can I see her?"

she looks at me sternly, Taking in my appearance.
Scruffy? Yup.
Tired? Yes, haven't slept for two days!

"I'll see if she's available."

Of course she'll be available! What else would she be doing.
she's back..

"come in and wait in the hall! Wipe your feet!"

I wait quietly.
"so you are her? Cousin?"
"I'm her sister." I say indignantly.
"Your Katherine?"
"Ugh it's Kat"
" I see. Yes I know all about you."

Lady I couldn't care less what you know about me.

I just nod. I don't trust myself. I'll probably get thrown out..

She doesn't speak again.

Then I hear thundering down the stairs. And she comes skidding into view.

She runs straight for me.

I lift her up and squeeze her as tight as I can.
