I lost her, and she didn’t even remember.

****End of Flashback****

“BLAKE BRING THE SERUM, AND THE PHONE” I sighed as he bellowed out commands. How I put up with him shocked me.

I grabbed the clutch filled with serum, and the untraceable phone, and headed down the stairs.

I can’t believe I have to see this again.




****Lia’s POV****

I cried out in pain as Hayes tossed me across the room, the taste of blood well overpowered my taste buds, and I hurdled up in the corner, hiding myself from Hayes.

Crouched on the ground, I clutched my stomach, and swiped away blood that dripped down on my face. Hayes went all out on me, kicking me when I fell, and tossing me hard against the wall whenever I tried to stand up. Pure torture.

“It’s okay sweetie, the pain of not knowing the one you love is much worse than this.” He chuckled towering over me, and crouching to my level.

“Fuck you” I spat.

“You’ve got a mouth…watch before I make sure you are never able to see the sunrise.” He shook his head, before getting up and walking away.

Sitting in his chair, caused my mind to stir, this all gave me an eerie déjà vu feel, and it freaked me out. Soon Blake showed up, sorrow filling his eyes as he saw the state I was in. But looking away quickly to keep from caving in and helping me.

A black clutch was given to Hayes, and a small cellphone. Hayes quickly dialed a number, I assume Harry’s and waited for an answer.

“Nice speaking to you again Harry..”

“Mmm…not so fast loverboy…Ill text you a url…and you’ll type it in. Stay on the phone though, I love hearing empty threats.”

“Ahh you got the url? Great..the camera’s set up…I’ll put you on speaker….” He pressed a small button on the side, and suddenly the room’s silence was soon replaced with Harry’s voice.

“Let me talk to her..”

“No need for that Harry, you’ll hear her screams live on your very own computer. Watch as I do what I did to her a year ago, and watch her slip away. One minute she’ll remember you, the next she won’t know who you are…and all she’ll remember is her once true love Blake…Now wouldn’t that be sweet.?”

“Hayes what in bloody hell are you talking about…She has nothing to do with us..Leave her out of this.” He shouted into the phone.

“Ahh…but you too are as oblivious as she is. We had petty gang rivalry but you were my little machine. I was going to use you….in my little plan, but suddenly the demon with no heart magically grows one, and fucks up my plan. You see…she…” He pointed at me now that the camera was on.

“This pretty little lady’s daddy had the key to my success…So I had her kill him off…Unknowingly of course…This serum…This serum…wow works miracles…” He chuckled crossing his arms across his chest.

Leaning down towards me, he stared me down for a few seconds. A flash of some sort of resent in his eyes. “Your daddy was one smart fellow” He smiled at me, but I just spat the blood pooled in my mouth at him, causing him to kick me hard in the gut. My cry in pain cause Harry to scream.

“STOP FUCKING HURTING HER. I’LL GIVE YOU ANYTHING. JUST FUCKING LET HER GO.”

“Ahh but you have what I want, you don’t even know what it is…Which is great on my part, because once I find it…You won’t even know it’s gone…A great gain for me..BUT back to what I was saying…You see this serum does wonders…especially at erasing a good portion of memories…”

“My little game…” He laughed out cynically while grabbing me and pulling me up. Manhandling me and pushing me towards the camera, he whispered by my ear.

“Say your last words..”

Tears welled in my eyes, as I knew this was most likely going to be my final goodbye.

“Harry…Harry listen to me…I love you so much….And I know what this serum does….So please.. promise me you’ll move on…and that you’ll find a girl who will love you and treat you better than I did. Don’t come looking for me, don’t give yourself heartache…I promise you that no matter how much he may force me to forget that you will always have a space in my heart…So this is my good-“

“Lia…stop..Jesus Lia..I will find you…I’ll kill that fucking bastard, and we’ll be happy again…Okay don’t give up on us…I’ll get you back…I promise even if it’s the last thing I –“ And I cut him off like he did to me, but I wasn’t angry. I just wanted him to understand why I was saying my goodbyes.

“Harry…don’t do this…this is what he wants…Do you love me?” He immediately answers with a yes, and I continue. “Then you will listen to what I told you…Don’t come looking for me…I… I won’t be me…I won’t remember you…”

“Ah ah ah, times up..Now for this miraculous serum.” He jabbed the needle harshly into my neck, causing me to scream out in pain. The serum numbing every limb in my body, I felt myself weaken with every second that passed. But before I was gone forever. I remembered that I wouldn’t forget who he was. I had that beautiful tattoo of the rose, and Harry’s name secretly engraved into it. I would always remember him, and with that I murmured my last words.

“I will always love you Harry.”

My brain going blank as the serum took full effect on my body. Hayes whispering sweet memories into my ear…And with that my memories slipped away….Every memory I cherished so deeply whisked away. My eyes heavy, I fell into a trance.

A trance I had to find a way out of.
