Awaking to a bright light, and a pounding headache. A wet cloth being dabbed on my skin, caused me to jump away in fright.

“Shh…baby…It’s me.” He soothed, but I knew it wasn’t Harry. It was Blake. Blinking away the confusion, I stared at his tensed face. It reminded me of back when we were something…When I once meant something to him.

***Flashback***

“Lia…promise me one thing.” He pleaded, caressing my face with his thumb.

“Ok…I promise….I trust that what you’re telling me is something I can promise..” I smiled a wide grin.

“Promise me that no matter what happens. No matter what blocks our path, that you’ll know I will, and have always loved you. That no matter what I may do, or may seem to do…That you won’t hate me. You’ll be considerate. And even if you can’t be…Will you promise me to move on, and love someone like I love you.”

Confused on why he was saying such heartfelt, and heart breaking words, I was still trying to process what he was saying until I found him with a gun in his hand.

“Blake…Blake…what the hell…what the fuck are you doing….” I shouted at him.

“Tell me you love me….” He begged, as a tear slid down his cheek.

“I love you….I will always love you.” I smiled back in hopes he would stop what he was doing, but he didn’t. He clenched the gun, pulling the trigger, and shooting. Shutting my eyes, they shot back open to the sound of my fathers groans.

“I will always love you…remember that Lia.” But I pushed his words away. I laid there helpless, hugging my father’s body. He shushed me, telling me he’d be okay…He told me he’d watch over me, and that this wasn’t my fault. The problem was much bigger than I could handle..And like that he was gone.

His now cold lifeless body laid in my arms, his once compassion filled smile faded, his eyes that lit up like fireworks on the fourth of July…had now faded…All because of Blake.

***End of Flashback***

“Why did you do it Blake?” I questioned him.

“Because I loved you…Everything was out of love Lia….Everything I did was all for you.” But I winced at his touch. Backing away, I couldn’t go far since I was stuck in a house quite far away.

“Don’t fucking tell me you loved me.. You killed my father.” I spat, to only get a growl in return.

“You’d be in a fucking coffin if I hadn’t done what I had to. Jesus Lia I swear you’re so oblivious. This whole thing your dad was in, was way over your head. You lived a life full of luxury after his death…Maybe you should start thinking logically. I was there for you…And here you are now…Hating me and in love with him.” He shook his head before running his hands through his hair.

“You forget who’s side I’m really on.” He whispered. “What does he have that I don’t…I GAVE YOU EVERYTHING LIA…Every fucking thing…I..” He shouted, but was cut off by the door swinging open.

“Mmm tense moment I see. Blake go fix her up a warm bath, she’ll be needing it after I’m done having a little chat with her?” He smirked over at Blake, who looked like he’d had to suppress the urge to shoot em dead then.

Slamming the door behind him, Hayes let out a evil laugh before walking over to me.

“Long time no see sweetheart. Did you miss me? I know you did. I wrote to you everyday…Did you like reading my handwritten letters to you? Hmm…ANSWER ME BITCH.” He roared, and I felt like I was about to hurl. I was vulnerable, and terrified of the monster in front of me.

“Hmm time to teach you a lesson. Always answer to your owner.” He shook his head, while grabbing me by my neck and lifting me up onto my feet.

“This is going to be fun.” He laughed before punching me hard in the face.
