Chapter 6
I heard my alarm go off. I quickly looked at the time. It wan only 7:10. I smiled as i streched. Harry had been out of town for a month.I had really missed him. I couldn't wait to hug him when I got to his house. I quickly got ready. I was suppose to be there at 8. I lookedat the cloack and it was only 7:45. I ran down stairs and had a quick bite to eat.
When i fifnished and put my bowl into the sink, I looked at the kitchen clock. It was 7:50. I smiled. I ran outside. I ran down the steet until I got to Harry's road. I looked at his house and stopped in my tracks. Sierra was standing on his front porch. I hid behind a mailbox. I watch as she talked to him. I couldn't hear what they were talking about. It looked as if though Harry was getting Angry. She said something, all he did was shake his head.
"Why not?" She started to raise her voice. He rplied to her in a normal voice as to where I couldn't hear.
"It's because of Arabella isn't it?" She was getting angrier. Then something happened I will never forget. They kissed. I watched in horror. I accidently yelped a bit, then ran away.
Harry's POV.
"Why not?" Sierra said raising her voice.
"I am not going to be your boyfriend Sierra I'm sorry, I just don't feel that way about you."
"Its because of Arabella isn't it?" I was stunned by her assuption. I had never wanted to answer that question so bad. I kept it in though.
Right as I was about to say she had nothing to do with it when Sierra pushed herself on me and kissed me. I had my eyes wide open in shock. That's when I heard it. A yelp. I knew instintly who it was for I had heard it once before. Ara had been listening and watching. I pushed Sierra away.
"What is wrong with you?" I said leaving my porch and walking toawards the street.
"Where are you going?" She yelled after me. I didn't believe she deserved an answer. I looked back and forth between the left and right side of the road. I was racking my brain to think of where she would go. I knew she was hurt. Sierra was the girl who bullied Ara to extremes. I then remembered while we were walking around during the holiday we had found a short cut to the pond she had found. I instintly ran towards the place where we first found it. I then saw her sitting on the rock at the other end of it. She had her knees pulled to her chest andher head was down. I knew she was crying.
"Ara!" I yelled. Her head shot up, with a glare. I deserved the look I was getting.
"What do you want?" She yelled back. I could tell she was devistated. I walked around the pond. I tried to wrap my arms around her. She pushed me away.
"Stay away from me!" She said backing up.
"Ara.." I tried to explain.
"You...You hurt me. Why wouldn't you tell me what that you and her were together? I would have had a better time accepting it! God Harry! You are suppose to be my best friend! Now you are snogging on the girl who bullies me? How do you expect me to act?" Tears began to fill her eyes and spill over. The look in her eyes hurt me more then I could believe. I then hugged her again. She tried pulling away but i held on tighter. She finally stopped fighting and just sat there and cried on my shoulder.
"Ara.. I didn't kiss her. I don't even fancy her. She fancies me. She came over to ask me to be her boyfriend. I told her no. She then caught me by surprise and kissed me. I didn't expect it or want her to. I swear. I would never hurt you! What on earth were you thinking?" I said pulling her away to look her in the eyes. She still had a few tears astray and i wiped them from her cheek. She looked up at me.
"You promise?" She asked.
"I promise."
"Forever and always?"
"There is no such thing as forever. But I promise for the rest of my life." I said giving her a small smile.
"And I promise the same. Rest of my life."
"Then i guess that makes it our lives?" I said laughing.
"All our lives." She said with a grin.
"You are such a bad influence on me Aria!" I said lookingat my watch.
"Why?" She asked.
"We are late for school! Again!." I said with a grin.
"Says the boy who didn't want to leave until his hair was perfect last year?" She said with a cheeky grin.
I smiled back and we walked to school together.
