Chapter 35
Louis p.o.v
I woke up the next day to rain pelting off the window at my house, we got home at midnight we would have got home earlier but there was a car crash on the motor way which caused traffic problems. But Liam drove me home and I have never been so desperate to sleep in my bed and I had one of the best night sleeps in a long time.
I decided that I had been lying about long enough so I climbed out of bed and had a shower and got dressed for the day which I almost forgot about but I’m going to get my voice back which I can’t wait for and I walked downstairs to see everyone sitting in my sitting room.
“they just got here” Harry said and I nodded.
not all of you are coming with me are you? i texted all of them.
“don’t you want us to?” Zayn asked.
I don’t know I mean won’t there be too many of us there?
“Niall can go with you and then when your out of surgery we will come by” Liam said.
“I don’t want to wait alone Zayn you come” Niall said.
“ok when is Louis meant to go?” Zayn asked.
“we should leave now are you ready Lou?” Niall asked and I nodded.
“good luck” Everyone said as I walked out of the door.
It wasn’t that far to the hospital and before I knew it I was waiting in the waiting area I had my leg bouncing with my nerves.
“Louis Tomlinson” A nurse called.
“I’ll go in to explain things Zayn just wait out here” Niall said we followed the nurse to a room and we sat down in two chairs and Niall explained everything apart from the hybrid thing.
“I got told that one of my patients was a hybrid today and is that you Mr Tomlinson” The doctor said.
“yeah he is can you help him?” Niall asked.
“of course I can he isn’t the first hybrid to have had this done we can do it right now” the doctor said.
“do you want to do it now?” Niall asked and I nodded.
“well follow me Mr Tomlinson” the doctor said Niall hugged me and he went back to the waiting room I followed the doctor to the bottom where he handed me a hospital gown to get changed in he told me not to worry about my tail because I will be walking from the room straight into the theatre where they do the surgery.
I lay there in the cold hospital bed with a few doctors doing a few things around the room with the doctor I was talking to in the room doing something by a machine. I felt a small prick in my hand and I looked down to see something in my hand.
“don’t worry it’s just so I can inject the antiseptic that will put you to sleep count back from 10 in your head” the doctor said so I started to count backwards from 10 in my head.

And everything went black.
I could hear a beeping noise but everything was black my head kind of hurt and my throat was defiantly sore and dry. I slowly began to move my fingers which were very stiff and slowly built up to turning over on my side.
“Louis, Louis” someone was saying I lifted my arm up and tried to shoo whoever it was away because all I wanted to do was sleep.
“boys he might not be fully awake yet just give him time to fully wake up” another voice said I heard a set of footsteps leave the room and others shuffled around the room. I could hear voices mumbling around which I opened my eyes to see an outline of someone with brown hair as my eyes focused Harry was sitting in one of the hospital chairs with his feet over the arm rest.
“i was hoping for someone better to wake up to” I whispered wait I whispered!
“Louis!” they all shouted.
“you’re not meant to talk!” Liam scolded.
“at least he can talk! Zayn said.
“good to hear your voice even though that was very hoarse and very quiet” Niall said.
“someone give him your phone” Zoe said and Harry being the closest passed me his.

“here have some water” Zayn said passing me a bottle of water which I attempted to drink but it hurt too much to swallow so I gave the bottle over to Niall.
“you can’t talk for a week and after that you have to still not talk much like your vocal cords are weaker so you need to build them up meaning it will take some time to build up to singing” Liam explained.

Harry laughed “ how did you find out my super power don’t tell anyone but I am superman!” Harry said.

A week had passed and I still wasn’t meant to talk since it needs time to heal but today the doctor said I can start to because they have healed enough to talk. I walked downstairs into the living room to see 4 bodies sprawled across the settees.
“um boys you mind looking dead” I said and to my surprise my voice didn’t sound too bad a bit croaky but fine if anyone heard me they would think I’m sick.
“Louis your not meant to talk” Liam said rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.
“no today’s the 7th I can” I said.
“yes no more you talking through texting” Niall said sitting up with his ears emerging through his messy bed hair.
“no remember he has to take his time with how much he talks” Harry said.
“shut up Harry no I don’t I’m fine listen my voice is already getting better every time I talk” I said.
“I already miss you not having a voice” Harry said
“thanks mate I really appreciate that” I said.

“you better be I still haven’t forgive you for running out when Niall and I told you about us being hybrids” I said.
“but I like you guys being hybrids look” he said and he started the pet my ears making me purr but I snatched his hand off and started to cough.
“are you ok?” Liam shouted concerned.
“yeah that just really hurt my throat.” I croaked once again.

It actually only took an hour to write it just took a long time to update because i have an 10 hour exam in like 2 weeks or less than that and im preparing for it and ive just been so tired so i havent been able to sit down and wrote
