Meeting
Alia’s P.O.V
It’s been a week since I found out I was switched and today is the day I meet my actual family. Leanna asked if I wanted her to be here with me but I told her it’s ok. All I know right now is that I have two older sisters and a twin who is apparently older than me by 2 minutes. My parents’ names are Karen and Geoff. I forget their last name but I think that’s the least of my worries right now. We are supposed to meet them at the aquarium in an hour and I still wasn’t dressed.
“Alia get ready.” Will yelled up stairs. They told me last week to start calling them by their first names. None of us really know how to handle this situation so I guess that this is their way of dealing with it. I groaned as I stepped out of bed and walked over to my closet. I picked out what to wear then got in the shower. When I was done and dressed it was time to go. I texted Anna telling her I was leaving now.
LA: Good luck. Also if you’re twin happens to be hot send me a pic!

The car ride was silent I was in the back looking at my phone and tweeting.
@HisOnly1: Meeting the family…I’m nervous finger crossed that they like me!
I locked my phone as we pulled into a parking spot. Will turned off the car and him and Hillary turned and looked at me.
“No matter what has happened and even though you call us Will and Hill now we will love you no matter what.” Will said. I nodded my head. We all got out the car and walked in. I walked away from them and looked at my favorite animal in there, the penguin. I watched them swim around for a while before I turned and saw 5 other people with Will and Hill. At that second Will pointed at me and as those people turned and looked at me I turned my attention back to the penguins.
“Hey Alia.” I heard Hillary say as she walked next to me.
“What if they don’t like me?” I asked her still looking at the penguins. She led me to a bench and we sat down and I rested my head on her shoulder.
“They will love you no matter what. Trust me. Even though I’m not your mother you are still like my daughter.” She replied pulling us both up and kissing the top of my head. “Ready?” She asked looking me in the eye. I nodded my head and we walked over. I looked at the ground as I approached the group. I just stood there kind of awkwardly.
“Umm guys this is Alia.” Will said introducing me. I looked up and gave a nervous smile. The couple standing in front of me looked familiar and so did the two girl standing next to her.
“Hi Alia. I’m Geoff and that’s Karen, Nicola, and Ruth. Liam went off somewhere. We are your family.” He said coming and hugging me. I hugged back. Next Karen came and hugged me and she was crying. Nicola and Ruth hugged me also.
“Hey guys sorry that was one of the lads calling.” I heard a voice say. That voice sounded familiar. I looked in the direction it was coming from. I looked and didn’t believe my eyes. Now I know why they looked so familiar! They areLiam’s parents and sisters which means….OMG LIAM PAYNE IS MY TWIN!!
“Liam this is your twin sister Alia” Geoff said introducing us. I didn’t move so Liam came and hugged me. It was an awkward nervous hug. He then stepped back with the rest of the family. We all stood there awkwardly and I don’t like awkward silences so I decided to brake it.
“Sooo..” I said trailing off hoping someone would continue it. They didn’t so I went on. “Where is the girl I was switched with?” I asked looking around. Sadness crossed all of their faces.
“Umm she died after a day.” Karen said looking down. Will and Hill walked away so they wouldn’t cry in front of us.
“It’s nice to meet you.” Ruth said coming and standing next to me.
“The same. I really hope I can get to know all of you guys better. Well I hope to get to know Liam on more than a fangirl bases.” I said whispering the last part. Liam must have heard because he looked surprised.
“You like One Direction?” he asked in shock. I nodded my head blushing and looking down. Liam came and hugged me, but this time it wasn’t awkward or nervous.
“That’s such a relief! I was afraid that you didn’t and then that would make being my twin a lot more awkward.” Liam said still hugging me.
“God Liam let our little sister breathe!” Nicola said prying him off of me. It’s odd being called someone’s sister since I have been an only child. Will and Hilary walked back.
“Sorry guys.” Hilary said. “So um Alia can spend the day with you guys. I mean you are her family.” Hilary continued.
“Really?” I asked looking back at them. The nodded their heads. I walked over and hugged them. They left so it was me, Liam, Nicola, Ruth, Mom?, and Dad? left. I’m not really sure what to call them.
“Um what would you guys prefer I call you?” I asked them. They shared a look.
“You can call us Karen and Geoff or mom and dad. Whichever you want to.” Karen said.
“I like mom and dad. Could we all possibly get a picture together so I can send it to my best friend?” I asked them. They smiled back.
“Of course.” Karen said. I got one of the workers to take the picture. Liam and I kneeled next to each other with Nicola and Ruth standing behind us bending at the knees and Geoff and Karen were behind them.
“Would you mind sending that picture to me? The lads want to see if we look alike at all.” Liam said. I nodded my head and gave him my phone so he could put his number in. When I got it back I saw that he put his name in as “the twin” with a smiley face and a heart. I sent him the picture then sent it to Leanna.
“Thanks. So what do you say we walk around here for a while?” Liam asked all of us. We agreed. Liam and I walked over to where the turtle are and sat on the bench in front of it.
“So Alia since you’re a directioner. Who is your favorite?” Liam asked me.
“Do I have to answer?” I asked him. He nodded his head yes. “Fine my favorite is Harry.” I said turning my attention back to the turtles.
“Not fair! Do you mind if you and I take a selfie and post it on twitter?” Liam asked me. I shrugged my shoulders and said why not. We both smile nicely. Once he took it he showed me and we do look kind of alike.
“Twitter name?” Liam asked.
“I’m @HisOnly.” I replied. Liam raised an eyebrow. “My boyfriend chose it not me.” I explained.
“I think I may have to meet him now.” Liam said seriously before looking back at his phone.
“One day.” I said unlocking my phone. Liam had tweeted the picture.

I favorite it then lock my phone again.
“So how about we go see if the others want to go to Disneyland.” Liam said. I nodded my head then we walked over to the others.
“Hi guys. We were wondering if you wanted to go to Disneyland.” I said as they turned and looked at us.
“Yea but could I go change into something else before we go?” Nicola asked.
“yea.. I need to also. Could you guys um drop me off at my house?” I asked nervously.
“I will since I don’t have to change.” Liam offered since they have two separate rental cars. We walked out and I gave Liam directions to my house. When we got there I saw a moving truck out front. When he parked I opened my door and ran inside and saw Hilary and William moving boxes to the front of the house.
“What are you guys doing?” I asked as Liam walked in behind me. Hilary began to tear up.
“We can’t handle living in this house. Well with you… You can still live here and maybe Leanna can move in with you. We are going to leave the furniture here and pay for the utilities and the house payment. You can keep the credit card we gave you so you can buy what you need and we’ll pay for the bill.” Will said coming and hugging me. I nodded my head as they put their final boxes in the truck. They hugged me and then left. I plopped down on the couch trying to grasp what’s happening. I forgot Liam was there until he sat down next to me.
“Are you ok?” Liam asked. I nodded my head.
“Yea. I’m going to g change. You can stay here.” I said running upstairs to change. I came down fully changed and saw that Liam was on the phone so I walked to the kitchen and called Leanna.
“Hey Anna. Hill and Will moved out and left the house to me…Will you move in with me?” I asked as she answered.
“Of course babe. I have homework to finish but I’ll come over tonight.” She said before hanging up.
Liam’s P.O.V
When I got off the phone with mum telling her what just happened Alia came into her living room.
“Ready?” I asked standing up. She nodded her head then grabbed her keys and we walked out. We got in the car and drove to meet the rest.
“Well what ride should we go on first?” Alia asked. We all shrugged our shoulders so we all agreed to ride them in the order that we saw them. Once we rode all the rides it was around dinner and I told the lads I would have dinner with them.
“I got to get going. I can drop Alia off.” I said taking the keys out of my pocket.
“Yes that’ll be great.” Alia replied hugging mum, dad, Nicola, and Ruth. I thought it would be awkward between all of us but surprisingly it isn’t. I led Alia to the car and drove her home.
“I’ll text you later.” I said as she stepped out the car.
“Ok thanks for the ride.” She said walking away and into the house. Once she was in I drove off to go meet the lads. When I got there the others were waiting for me because I was late.
“You’re late and I’m hungry lets go.” Niall said walking in.
“I know I’m sorry. I had to drop Alia off at her house.” I said as we were seated.
“How was your day with her?” Zayn asked.
“It was amazing. She is even a directioner!” I said smiling.
“Is she cute?” Harry asked. I glared at him.
“I may of just met her but she’s still my sister so no dating her.” I said sternly mostly towards Niall and Harry since they are the only other ones who are single. Niall nodded his head and so did Harry.
“Wait was she the girl that was in the picture you tweeted?” Louis asked putting a spoon full of food in his mouth. I nodded my head.
“Wow you guys look alike. Wait isn’t she the girl form the concert last week?” Harry asked. I knew I saw her before and I didn’t realize where until now.
“Yea she is.” I said taking a sip of water. We talked for the duration of dinner and then we went back to the hotel. Niall and I went to our room and I sat on my bed and pulled out my phone.

Lil Sis: Kk night! Maybe you could come over tomorrow and meet Leanna and we could have a day in with Ruth and Nicola. XX-A
