How I met Louis Tomlinson

Lily's POV
I opened my eyes and saw all white. Was I dead? No if I were dead I wouldn't be in so much pain.
everything hurt.
my head felt like it was being sawed in half by a rusty fork. I couldn't lift my hands, they felt like lead. My chest hurt with every breathe I took. My headache was not being helped by the fact there was a constant beep in the background. I turned my head and saw a heart monitor and an IV. I looked at my right hand and saw it was connected to all my life lines. I looked to the left and saw Niall, fast asleep with his head in his hands. I tried saying his name by my throat felt raw and dry.
suddenly I heard the door open and I slowly turned my head.
"LILY!!! Your awake!!!" Louis yelled dropping the food he just got. I winced at his voice and I heard Niall jolt awake.
"Lily!" Niall said a bit more quietly.
"I'll call a nurse." Louis said pushing a red button. While waiting Louis gently stroked my hair. The door banged open and I winced again.
"please back from the patient for a moment sir." The nurse said while fiddling with a bunch of things I was connected to. She took my oxygen mask off and replaced them momentarily for nose tube things. She left my room and soon a doctor came in.
"hello Miss. Williams, I'm doctor Morrison. I want you to follow my pen." He said moving the pen. Probably to see if I have a concussion. He seemed pleased with what happened with the test. So he moved on. "Where does it hurt?" He asked.
"Everywhere" I said.
"Okay here's some morphine, it'll help out with the pain" he said grabbing a few things and putting them into my IV. "I'll let you guys talk a bit, but no excitement! You can't handle it." With that he left the room and I tried sitting up.
"Woah woah woah, you heard the doctor don't sit up just stay laying down." Louis said gently touching my arm. I did as he said and went back down. Niall grabbed some of the food from Louis and began to eat. I began to get a bit relaxed as morphine coursed through my veins.
"Louis?" I asked.
"yeah baby"
"how long was I out?" I asked.
"two days" he said staring at me with a look of concern.
My eyelids felt heavy and I began closing them. I felt a light kiss on my forehead as I'm assuming Niall and Louis left. They probably have a concert to go to.
I opened my eyes and the harshness of the light in my room made me wince. The pain was not as bad this time. I looked out the window and saw the sun setting. It was around 7 PM and I was so bored. I didn't really know what to do. I looked and saw a big red button so I pushed it. Soon Dr. Morrison came in. "Good evening Miss. Williams, were going to bring you for some x rays okay?" He said.
"Okay" I replied. Soon my bed was being pushed down the hallway. They took x rays and the doctor was looking at them. I faintly heard what he was saying. I think I heard 'now we can take out the chest tubes'. How badly was I hurt!? I wondered to myself.
"So we are going to bring in some medical students and the are going to take out your chest tubes. We had to put them in because of a collapsed lung" the doctor explained. I was wheeled back to my room and there was a small group of medical students just huddled in a corner reviewing how to take out a chest tube. Soon they crowded around my bed and I saw someone familiar. It was the taxi driver, from when I first moved here. His eyes widened as I realized he recognized me too. Dr. Morrison observed the students closely as they successfully took out the tube. Everybody left except for the taxi driver.
"So I see we do meet again" he joked. "Not the way I would have wanted to but still." I smiled at him. "I'm Kamran, call me Kam." He said shaking my hand.
"Lily" I replied.
"I'll see you later okay? I gotta get back to my group." He said I nodded my head and he headed out.
I was so happy to have a familiar face, besides Louis, since he's got so many concerts to go to, it'll be nice to see Kam more.
