Scarlette POV:

I felt the blackness around me lift temporarily again.

Again, I felt like I was in a swimming pool, but I was dry. For some reason, I felt hand cup my face.They were so strong, and warm.

And the next thing I knew I was being kissed. So passionately, so lovingly my face felt aflame. My lips were on fire, my heart racing.

The lips kissed me again and again. Suddenly, the blackness was dissolving. I wasn't in a pool, I was in a bed. I was lying down.

My eyelids fluttered open and the lips pulled away.

"Rise and shine, sunshine," whispered a husky voice. The figure was blurry, as was the room around me.

A warm, strong hand enclosed mine, and suddenly the room came into focus, as did the figure.

"You," I breathed.

It was Niall Horan.
